Actually Matsubaa its is believed that weapon is the 2h swordsman weapon called the sycthe. First seen in the demo video, and later in Nym's fortress and now as loot

That has got to be just about the best weapon in the game. I mean the tiny damage range ALONE is unreal, and 2.0 speed? JEEBUS! Hell on your action bar though.

Real nice looking weapon. I want a 1h sword like that.

Wonder when the cry of nerf loot is going to get louder, now that you can actually get decent weapons from mobs. I got an idea though, give the ones that whine a TEF, so when we kill them, they'll drop weapons. Armorsmiths can drop armor.

That has to be the coolest thing in star wars since the lightsaber. I pray that weaponsmiths get certified for this in the future and it becomes the swordsman's ultimate weapon.

Awesome. That sword may be a bug now, but in january it will be all ours. Yum, I can't wait, I really hope the drops aren't impossible to get like RIS armor's. It would have to be my PvP weapon since I couldn't use it without a quickness buff, me being a trandoshan.

Matsubaa in reply to what you said about that not being a scythe, it may not be the basic polearm version of a scythe, but it is a various form of battle scythe, which has two forms, a medium length blade with a handle, or a scythe with it;s blade pointing straight up which makes it look simmilar to a glaive, but it is just a modified scythe with it's blade straight up and down instead of curving off of the shaft of the weapon. so it could very well be a scythe, there is also a one handed weapon with a half moon shaped blade called a scikle, but that is a totally different weapon from the scythe. but i agree, the general look and feel of a scythe would be the basic grim reaper type scythe.

My thoughts is that this is not the Scythe at all... just one of the new weapons that they are filtering in. From the live startics chat:

PS! The aakuan ringe has been lootable in the Aakuan cave on Talus for some time.. Not sure for how long it has been lootable, but at least a month ..
