Since I'm not near Master yet I have to ask....how badly wouldthat -45 accuracy modifier affect the fight?

Well, that depends on who your fighting. If its a fencer, you might never get a shot in, but then again, you really only need that 1 hit to really take the opponent down. Any other profession, the hammer might miss sometimes, but it definitely will get a couple of good shots in.
