Myrmidions were an elite Greek infantry group in the time of the Iliad, and we all know that in that period noone used a two handed sword, not even centro-europeans (Barbarians) or nordics, so, evenbeing a good name, it will be similar to say that we want to be called "Inmortals" or "Praetorians"... is just a great name, but nothing to do with 2h swords in SW...

i vote for Executioner, Smasher, Crusher or Reaper

ah, and Gladiator is a little bit "Village People" no?

my 2 cents

i'd like to see the title of Bashkar appear somewhere in the offense line. if i remember correctly, they were berserker norseman or vikings. could be wrong tho. but hey, sounds cool nonetheless.

Dictionary.com defines juggernaut (note spelling, not juggernaught) as:

"An overwhelming, advancing force that crushes or seems to crush everything in its path"

Hell yes, sounds like a good title

Head hunter is not a BH title, and i'd like to make the point the BH got the desperroto (can't spell) title whitch i belive is very earthly as it is a spainsh name for desperse ppl who will do anything to get what they want to get (correct me if i'm wrong but thatswhat i was told) If they can get that, I whould vote for Ronin, Exacutetion or mrymidion, or Head hunter, to replace expert heavy swordsman ans cleaver. For some reason Juugernaunt sounds like some big greek warship to me i donno.........me 2cents

Dreadnaught is/was a warship, Juggernaut is actually a (corruption of the name of a)Hindu God

Seems to me that the problem here is that there is a severe lack of vocabulary in SW to describe the swordsman aspects. And while I agree thatsamurai and ronin and kensai are cultural rip offs, I believe centurion (Roman), Myrmidion (Greek), and Bashkar (Norse) are too. In fact, it will be hard to find an accurate description at all without delving into our own lexicons, until there is a good reference in SW, either movie-wise or in the EU. Until then, I would say any of these would do. We're trying to describe aspects ofone of the most brutal and effective melee professions in the game. As far as the samurai reference goes, someone please tell me what other culture on Earth used a two-handed curve sword, like what is in the game, besides the Japanese? All other oriental cultures used straight blades, and the only other curved swords I can recall were all one-handed varieties...

As far as my vote goes, juggernaught is perfect, with reference to the powerhammer.

Bump. We Need something better than "cleaver" and "Expert". But when you think about it why are we called swordsman anyway? We Use PowerHamers and Axes. The profession is more along the lines of a Heavy Armsman

I don't think Samurai, or Ronin r cultrul rip-offs if u look at in in thisway: A samurai was sort of like the Japanesse Knight and a Knight is like a Enlgish samruai. Knight is a earthly name of course. What title do Jedi's get? Jedi knight of course, Jedi is star wars, but Knightwould be labled a Cultrul rip-off right? and my post before about the BH title for the pistol line is also a rip-off. If they can get that why can't we get Ronin or mrymidon, or even beserker (and yes i do like Juggernaunt) for pete sake! I was very disappointed to findo ut that we where the only combat eitle prof. to not get a new title at all! Come on SOE get with it! Even pikeman got one! (lol)
