master brawler

FS melee spd (max'd)

FS melee def (max'd)

FS ranged def (max'd)

TK 4004

fencer 2200

smuggler 0010


0/250 all pts used, with both melee and ranged def capped. i may drop fencer to 2100 or 2000 for FS melee accuracy, but i haven't made up my mind yet. this template owns, being that i'm speed capped. very nice in PVP and PVE.


don't need heal with feign, not to mention it makes you a loot whore.

imo all those getting the lines of pistoleer and fencer for states defense are wasting. considering there is def vs KD food that is unholy, you don't need it. some guy has +125 vs KD and 99 melee def. to me that's A$$ backwards, but whatever works.


the other thing i find kinda goofy for heavy PVP'ers. healing, if you actually have to heal health or action chances are you are pretty much beaten. 90% of everyone attacks mind anyway, so healing is a waste of pts. feign benefits you in PVP and PVE, and keeps you from getting your buffs nerfed....something to think about.

I have to agree actually whats important in PvE is Melee/ranged Defence. def VS kd can be achived with food. Feign Death is a neat trick also i have it on my "Krayt Hunter" TKM/Shock trooper. I find it more effective for Krayts really

I noticed no one that posted has mentioned going up the carbineer tree xx4x to get the max out of counterattack.


My template is thus.


Ms Weaponsmith

Ms Swordsman

The obvious brawler and artisan.

But i also have Carbineer 0/0/4/0.

and the obvious marksman.

Also +12 spd FS tree


In the end i have 190 Counterattck, which im not sure is overkill or not but i do know i counter 50% of the attacks against me. My melee def and Ranged do suffer though as Swords gives hardly none and the tree in Carb i have gives none either. Ive already decided im gonna drop carb, because im eating up to many Skill points and go into TK for Meditate, but does anyone know if Counterattack hard caps at any lvl?

here is my tmeplate to be an ALLAROUND PvE'er



Master Swordsman / Master Pikemane / Master Brawler / Fencer 0/0/4/0 / Medic 2/0/0/0 / Combat Prowess 0/0/3/4



Berserk +20 (ermm....)
Block +115 (we all know this sucks, but isnt cap 125? )
Counterattack +100 (you would think this accualy COUNTERATTACKED!)
Defense vs Blind +70 (wish it was higher, + tapes should be cheap)
Defense vs Dizzy +100 (capped )
Defense vs Intimidate +40 (doesnt get much higher in any build)
Defense vs Knockdown +45 (If they can't dizzy, won't matter if they KD me)
Defense vs Posture Change +40 (same as KD)
Defense vs Stun +100 (Capped )
Intimidation +20 (yeah!)
Melee Defense +72 (low, but against high end MOBS, its doesn't matter)
Melee Mitigation +8 (capped at +3 though)
Polearm Accuracy +155 (+9 Combat Prowess(whats cap on accuracy?)
Polearm Speed +80 (+12 Combat Prowess)(need some tapes!)
Polearm Toughness +31 (not sure what this does really?..? )
Ranged Defense +60 (same as melee defence)
Two-handed Melee Accuracy +135 (+9 Combat Prowess)(again... whats cap?)
Two-handed Melee Speed +80 (+12 Combat Prowess)(again, need tapes!)
Warcry +20 (yeah! incase I get jumped)


Sounds good on paper, what do you think?

for the guy who said go to tc2, why? can you jsut build one and not have to grind it or what? I dont wanna waste my time grinding it there, and then like ti and have to come back and grind it out here again.

depends on what you are doing. many of the high-end MOBs will hit you whether you have 0 melee/ranged defence or capped melee/ranged defense. however, if you have high defenses on states, it is very unlikely that you will get dizzied + kd/postured down (which usually means death)

I am considering MSwordsman I have been a MCH since before the 03 Nerf. I want to keep MCH because I can get 22k Mokk missions with 70lvls of pets grouped. That would leave enough for Medic 2/1/0/0 plus TK 0/1/0/0 Not sure exactly what template I want. Mcarb is just not cutting it anymore. I don’t PVP so that is not an issue. Any thoughts?
