Since you wont be able to have your current template in the CU I would wait two months before I made an addition to that belt or I would go with terrain negotiation.

you sure ? from what I've been told melee defense doesn't work when fighting krayt/elders and other high end mobs
if your melee defence is not all that high to begine with, then another +25 will not help on the high end stuff. But if your unmodified melee defence is say over 70 then yes it will make a difference. My jedi (before she was jedi) had her maxed 125 melee defence and elders rarely hit her. (watched the number of misses in the combat log). But if your running say Just Swordsman, or even add in master Brawler, another +25 won't help much.
