Pubams on Endor are great with a group. I'm a master and I still get near 5k exp a pop, and they are very easy if you were buffed by a Doctor and you have some groupmates that can split them up for you.

at novice leve, me another swordsman, and 2 others went around eisliy towards taike killing things here and there. by time we finished 1.5 hours later, I came out with 205k XP. If we went and killed more things, it'd be near 400k easy. greater rats best cause low melee def and spawn quite often. mtn worrts as well.

To throw in my 2 cents.

1) Creature handlers in this game is an aspect that deviates fromlore of Star wars.

I completely agree.

2) Should somone take it personal, discriminate against players because they decided to pick that profession, refuse to group with them, or disrespect them based on a skill tree?

The answer is No. My opinion is that such behavior would be absurd. Grantedthe aim should be that a significantdegree of theme carries over from the books/movies to the game, or itshouldn't have starwars printed on the box.Though taking it to the extreme andactinglike abigot when you see a player that is creature handler is just sad.

well, my fambaa killing days are over, they made them pack animals... what would you all suggest for a 0/4/3(49k for 4)/3 swordsman kill for exp? i usually solo, and i dont have any medic skills? from reading the above baz nitches seem like they would be worth killing, but i dont usually go so far as dathomire, i usually hunt on naboo, lok, endor and sometimes tatooine...

Just look at the posts, the CH posts are 15x more numerous than swordsmen! They even outnumber Jedi Posts by tens of thousands... it's just not right... lol

And other than a jedi did you see anyone weilding melee weapons? Hypocrite.

Lando uses a polearm, Jabba's palace was full of swordsman using 2 handed axes, emperors guards use vibrolances, ewoks use knives, spears (lance in some cultures), axes and nets. Actually I'm pretty sure if I took the time I'd see many more melee weapons floating about in the background.

Methinks perhaps your intelligence (as in information) is flawed and you need to go back and have a good look at the movies again for those melee guys. There's not many of them granted...but that's because ranged4tehwin

And there was actually a CH in the movies...again Jabba's palace...owned a pet rancor methinks...seems that Lucas had them nerfed in the movies and SOE latched onto a cool idea and kind of ran with it...but as mum said running with sharp things always sees someones eye out...in this case it was the swordsmans...

Oh the battle on the sand barge around the sarlacc pit had people fighting with other melee weapons.

To do with the topic find white/light blue mobs with 3K or less HAM and simply head to a nest and use any AOE attack with the nest targetted. Usually can pick up 300-500 per kill 10-15 kills per nest. With novice medic downtime isn't that hefty. Just remove armour sit and rest then start again. Usually use 1 stim b during the fight.

I've also given up on wearing armour in these fights to help with my mind regen.

To maximise xp you want fast continual kills. Same as any other MMO.

Well, actually, since you're gonna start calling me names... I'm going to defend myself on this one. Maybe you should think before typing, because the Emperor's Royal Guards (the ones with red regalia) have large pikes, "melee weapons" in case a simpleton like yourself does not know what a pike is. The Gungans also carry long "electropole" lances... seen in VERY LARGE quantities during the Naboo war in episode 1. Then of course the Gamorrean guards in Jabba's palace in Return of the Jedi (the hogmen) carry vibro-axes... a weapon actually used by the class for which we are posting now, surprise surprise surprise. Also the the long trident shocking thingies the Geonosians (bug creatures in episode 2) use to herd the beasts in the arena. Han Solo slicing open the Taun Taun with his dagger could also be considered a melee weapon for all intents and purposes. Ewoks also enjoyed carrying spears and the like for protection....

Really, the melee weapon is one that is shown in just about every Star Wars movie to date. However the only being that had a Rancor pet was Jabba's henchman and if you didn't notice it was caged and hardly knew how to do tricks... it would not obey commands, it would just eat whatever was thrown in it's cage. Which included a Gamorrean (much like the beast's master) that fell into the dungeon with Luke. So it was not a "tamed" Rancor by any stretch of the imagination... and to be calm and obedient in a cantina with 30 strangers is just beyond rediculous, aside from ever being let loose in a city... I can understand owning riding pets like Taun Tauns and Dewbacks and even dog-like pets are a great addition to the game but these giant spiders, and Grauls and Rancors and Tortons are just silly, unfair and not at all in line with the Star Wars world created by George Lucas.

So thanks for the flame, you really made yourself look like a moron... and it was fun being 100% right about this one.

For anyone else reading this post and has something to say to defend Creature Handlers, don't bother, I totally agree that it's part of the game... I'm not flaming Creature Handlers I'm simply stating my opinion that being one doesn't feel very 'Star Wars-ish'. I love the game and it's not something I would ever complain to the devs about because so many players love that aspect of the game and who am I to say what's fun for other people? Keep Creature Handlers around, keep them as THE elite profession, by all means make them able to kill Jedi... I'll have fun NOT playing as a Creature Handler because I don't like it's roleplaying qualities and I like not being the guy with the upper hand... just some dude with a blaster and a stimpack.

I'm not a hypocrite and I'm not interested in continuing this any further because if I've ever learned one thing it's not to argue with morons, because they drag you down to their intelligence level and beat you with experience... I'll pass on this one.

P.S. If you're going to insult somebody in writing you might seem a tad more credible when you don't misspell 8-letter words like "wielding"... just a suggestion for next time!

You are just so right I do apologize for insulting your mammoth amount of intelligence you have flowing through your brain, because I was typing too quickly and happened to slip up on one word you use that against me. And as I stated when did you see anyone else use those weapons for combat?

Gungans using their pikes in The Phantom Menace.

Tusken raiders using gaffi sticks against Luke in Star Wars.

Ewoks using spears in Return of the Jedi.

I'm sorry, but I have never been persuaded by this argument. Caring for a vicious beast locked inside a cage is one thing, and that one thing is nothing like the CH as it exists in SWG. CH as it is in SWG exists nowhere on planet Earth, and nowhere in any of the Star Wars films.
