Ya it stinks. we should not have to buy an expansion to get new weapons.(even though i'll probably buy them any way)

And if one of our weapons needed an enhancer that was Acklay bones then that would be awsome. Would make using Acklay bones useful again.

Lol.. I don’t know why I hate PH so much. I guess I feel swordsman should use swords and not powertools. The PH looks goofy and clumsy and I can not conceive anyone using it in combat effectively. (I am a martial artist in RL). I don’t know what the designers were smoking that night.

Since the CU all melee professions are in a desperate need of newly crafted weapons. Introduction of levels made a lot of weapons completely unusable, and developers didn’t take the time to do a proper balance run through them all. People level at incredible rates right now, often getting elite professions mastery within a day or two, so most weapons should be made for master /lvl 50+. It would be even cooler if weaponsmith could make almost EVERY weapon at a different lvl, so we could have lvl 50 curved swords, or lvl 50 scythe, or lvl 10 PH. (stats would very accordingly)


I would not complain if every few publish developers would also throw us a bone, and based on correspondent’s feedback give us a new weapon schematic. It is not as complex as adding more clothing so it wouldn’t take very much of artist's time, and keep us and weaponsmith happy. After all we are not paying monthly fees so their artists can work on the next expansion (which we also have to pay for).

that was the origanal plan. have every weapon usable at diffrent parts of the grind. But of course. That didn't happen. i was thinking i would have been able to use my cleaver at master but nope. This was the thing i fought for during the CU but everyoen was like NOPE. Just be happy with what you got. kinda pissed me off. we could have probably gotton this changed then instead of now. But a few people didn't see the need for variaty in weapons. I think thoughs people weren't even swordsmen that were on the forums doing so.

But ya i would like to have a weapon that would be true to the swordsmen title. i do not have a problem with the PowerHammer but i would like a variaty in weapons. And i know we are getting new swords with this expansion and all but there are still weapons ingame right now which i wish i could use at master. But guess that isn't going to happen now.

Dark-B is right, all weapons were supposed to be viable after the CU. Actuallysome are for Rifleman. They havetwo or three versions of some weapons all at different combat levels. Thje only melee weapons I have seen like that are one hand curved swords(curved sword, Nyax curved sword-CL40, and Kashyyyk spirit blade-CL50). If this was done with the cleaverand 2hand curved sword, thats all I would need.

kinda annoyed it isn't in schematic form however that is going to replace my Powere hammer even though it can't be sliced it is awsome... It will be difficult to get. but i dont like the fact that the devs aren't even concidering the crafting game any more. with weapons like this i dont ever need to buy anouther weapon.

Well, Swordsman is the BEST add-on proff. Swordsman attacks are great, but our weapons and our speeds are low. If you combine swordsman with any of the other proffs, you get better weapons, and in some cases, better speed.

2 Handed Loot/reward weapons never exceede 290 base DPS. TK (katarn), Fencer (nyenthoris, Xiris), and Pikeman (kamino) all have better loot weapons. A Chimaera with Swordsman AND another proff, using the best weapon(s) from that other proff and attacks from swordsman, will do more damage than a normal swordsman.

Anyone else think it's wierd that the Tulus and Obsidian swords have the exact same stats? (At least from the screenies I've seen)
