keep in mind that when the CU hits here like around next month, def stacking goes away, high armor protections go away, and most likey buffs will get nerfed. So what does that mean. Becoming a Def Stacker will be a waste of your time. It maybe good for like a month until the CU hits, but after that you gotta regrind a new template. I personally have Master swords/Master Doc. I like it currently and will be set for the CU since i have no def stacking. The only real down fall is i cant solo the acklay (only tried once). I most likely cant solo a Krayt other than a Juvie (maybe a canyon). NS are no trouble and most other npc bosses are easy too. Thats just my 2 pennies.

Where do the devs say defense staking will not be possible? ...I don't know the answer by the way.

There's a couple of problems with master doc/swords if you are trying to solo giant krayts. State defenses with just swords really stink and your intimidate lasts very little time. You will find yourself dizzied and on your back in no time. You can heal the states and get up only to have to spam intimidate. Land a few head hits, get kd/dizzied again. Rinse and repeat. Not saying it's impossible but it might take a long time to do Giants. Regulars are easy for any swordsman but I would still hate to have to hit that intimidate key so many times.

i just regrinded to msword/mbrawl/doc4200 to rely on state heals vs. stacking defenses. things that dizzy and then kd i'm not worried about, but giant krayts that dizzy/kd in one hit have me worried.
