Thread: If you could make one change to swordsman, what would it be?

at times the T21 is the best option, at other times a powerhammer is the best. it all depends on what your fighting. a TKM couldn't even scratch an elder, does that mean TKM's should get an AP2 vk that does stun damage? no profession is effective against evreything, even T21's are totally useless against alot of high end mobs. if the T21 did a less resisted type of damage then i might agree with you but with energy only being topped by kinetic i have to think you just resent rifleman for some reason.
they should just give all professions AP3, that would be balance right?
no, that would take away the point of having different profs, fencers dont do much damage (without a stun bat) but they state the sh!t out of ya, swordsman isnt fast but it has a big ass mofo hammer, rifleman has an armor piercing rifle, etc
but i still think we should get +10 speed so its not so expensive to speed cap (rifleman can do it for about 10 mill, swords is what, 30mil?)

why should the T21 lose AP3? it's the only reason to go rifleman. i was a master rifleman twice (forgot why i dropped it, regrinded then remembered) and the T21 is by no means overpowered right now. if anything i say give the T21 50-60 more damage.

level the playing field is all wrong, its not about being level from profession to profession, its about how each profesion has its strengths and weakness's and when its one on one, you have to exploit your strenghts and their weakness's. Leveling the playing field would mean we all run around with AP3 stun weapons. Utter stupidity and just an insane sight.... almost no point to being a master of anything cause somebody else can do just as good as you no matter their profession. The failure is on SOE's part at not keeping professions linked to each other, and allowing people to go out and do stuff like solo Elders or Krayts.
Commando, Rifleman and Swordsman.... those are the only professions I want to see with AP3 weapons, no other professions status should allow them to have AP3. But I do agree, a master certified sword or hammer or w/e that is AP3, kin or blast... doesn't matter.

This guy has some sence, good response.
It's stats are roughly in line with AP3 and giving it a rare damage type would allow it to fill a unique niche. Plus it looks damn cool.
