swordsman can manage every creature and npc available at the moment. Didnt try jedi master yet, but guess it would be possible also.

Everyone who tell its not possible, had never watched high melee in battle. Its plain sick if you use all your abilitys like heavy armor, bleeds, intimidate2, warcry2, centerofbeeing. Damage of your opponent will be reduced to nothing.

Mind is the only thing to worry about. The day when devs introduce mind healing stimpacks useble by docs, will be the last day a swordsman/doc had any worrys about death.

no, it isnt. There is no challange anymore. Why be a jedi if you can kill every solo opponent except ranged player. Jedi will not PvP fearing death, they will just repeat killing same stuff a melee and few ranged profs can do at the moment.

I'm not master swordsman yet .. 1-4-4-3 but i was able to solo 7 pikets at once on dat. with that area attack .. I was wearing composit chest and helmet / buffed myself since i'm master doc. .. and that for me was a tough battle. But it was satisfing seeing all the dead pikets laying at my feet. *should remind my self to never hit the piket layer before taking out the first 3*

I can solo anything in the game other than a krayt, and i mean SOLO, no pet, just me and the creature

I think lots of people underestimate the tanking ability of a character, especially if they're wearing at least 50% kinetic armor.

I'm currently playing around with professions (no, no holos), and am a Doc/TKM at the moment, but was thinking of switching to sword just for the fun of trying something out. Usually only takes me a few days to master a combat profession, thanks to having connections to good weaponsmiths and being able to buff myself. Swordsman is probably next on my list.

Back to the original subject about tanking.. With just doc buffs andfull 75% kinetic ubese (usually not even bothering with powerboost), I can tank things like force crystal hunters (even multiples) indefinately (the 80% medium armor ones). In fact it doesn't take long to kill them either, even without knockdown or bleeds. I've also tanked an ancient bull rancor, a bull rancor, and a regular rancor, at the same time without breaking a sweat. If they bleed me, I ignore it if its not a mind bleed because it just doesn't hurt enough. I don't even have to heal in any of my melee PvE encounters. This is not to boast, I'm just saying, never underestimate the power of good buffs, and good armor. I'd consider trying a Krayt, but I've just had horrible luck finding them in the past, and don't feel like running out there to try to find one, and then probably getting KS'd on it.

Invest in any combination of the following: Doc buffs, food, drink, spices and armor. And then quit telling people they're lying about tanking 'big stuff'.
