Thread: New 2H weapon ideas
I dont know if this has been posted but I think we need some extra damage types besides "Kinetic" and "Blast"
1) FrostSaber - Large sword with coolent injectors on the side, after cutting into the target releases a super compressed chilled gas into the taget (does cold damage)
2) Chargedblade - A Thin monofilimant that springs into life with a crackling lightning effect.. Does electricity damage.
Dual swords - Katanna tonto combination
sword breakers
socket swords
gunswords
CHAINSAW!
sword / energy shield combo

Any weapons from history would be available, also are the Force Pikes mentioned anywhere? I like the chainsaw that was mentioned as well, would be nice to see limbs coming off!! I think the trouble they will face with 'new' weapons is getting them to not resemble lightsabers. All the energy type ideas sound cool but will look like lightsabers and thus attract all the 'effect freaks' to our class.

I like the idea for the gunsword, like give a pistol like grip with a large sword blade on it.
But I think the lack of... whats the term I need.... HUGE swords like a claymore or flamberge. The two handed cruved is alright since it looks fast, and is one of the fastest we have, if not the fastest,
I also like the double bladed idea, for us who read the "Crimson Empire" comics, and would love to play at being a darthmaul stytle fighter.
But give us bigger, faster, and cooler swords!!!!!

1. Claymore - 2m in length slow, long range, above average dmg
2. A sword or axe that does a type of dmg that isn't blast or kinetic- the onesthat seem to most plausible and realistic would be cold, heat, electrity- these would have the same stats as their blast/kinetic counterparts except the dmg type obviosuly. ![]()
3. Morning stars and flails - well just the 2h flails the morning stars would prob need to be 1h.
4. A 2h VirboSword. Massive damage, lower than average range, above average speed, med to light armor piercing. This should be our master's sword.
for the lower levels maybe a club or maul.
I don't think Elemental Damage is as needed. I'd perfer higher AP scores on my weapon than a different damage types.
I don't quite see how an acid, electric or fire would be feasible (in real life) unless they decide to make weapons half Kinetic and half other damage type. We are swinging around large pieces of metal, there is going to be some sort of physical strike associated with it.
