yea combat equil is good.

but, in pvp, a fencer will not go down from dizzy/kd as much as a swordsman even if they both have the same defense vs dizzy and kd, because a swordsman's counterattack allows for states to pass through even if damage doesnt, and fencer's dodge keeps the states and the damage from affecting you.
