Yeah, it's going to be a big nerf for AP weapons if the change it to how it was intended. But I support the changes... because that's how it was intended. Armor piercing only should negate armor, it shouldn't provide bonuses to unarmored targets. I'm sorta disappointed that most of my rifles are pretty useless due to the power of my AP weapons. I'm also disappointed that I don't have to select my weapon based on the armor of my opponent... I just have to whip out my T-21 and know that the AP3 will give me a boost no matter what the opponent is wearing.

Wouldn't it be nice if your E-11 and Jawa was your anti-infantry rifles, while your laser and T-21 were the best equipment for, say, krayt hunting? Your SG82 had some all around use for taking out cold-vulnerable targets? If they fix AP, weapon selection will suddenly become much more interesting. (This applies to Power Hammers too.)

If you're concerned about overall power decreasing, then the right solution is to increase overall power across the board at the same time you do the AP fix. But please, you should still support the AP fix.
