I read that loooong post and what did I learn? We're changing HAM and it will be "exciting" ... we're changing weapons and they'll be "dynamic" ... we're changing monsters and they'll be "challenging" ....

It's all rah-rah crap that didn't tell me one thing worth knowing, and took 3 times longer to tell me nothing than it needed to.

I'm just glad I'm not a DE or Chef or some other profession who's been listening to Thundertwit say that he'd have some answers for them after they submitted all their problems six weeks ago ...

Did ANY of this stuff they're proposing to change come out of the Correspondent issues, or was it all just internal dev reaction to seeing the combat systems not working as they wanted them to?

In general, considering there's almost no detail, I *do* like the fact they're being pro-active and overhauling things that need overhauling. But these guys are masters at talking a big game, and then delivering very little for a very long time. How many "top priorities" have they had now?

so cynical, yet so very, very true. I wonder when I'll get frustrated enough to stop paying for the SWG beta.

I'm really glad I'm with a strong community of players.. GATers (www.gatcity.com) are the only thing that keep me in this game at times..

Not to be picky, but pistoleers do have an armour piercing pistol. The DX2 is AP1.

Leaving aside the fact that the DX2 bites donkey's bottoms, AP1 vs AR2 results in half damage. Add 90% resist on that and you're looking at 5% of normal damage.

Commandos dont care, flame DOTs can kill things with 100% heat resist.
