Blast melee

Acid ranged

Stun ranged and melee

Heat ranged



and Meditate to heal the poison, disease and wnds at the end of the fight.





not completely true, but yea i get what ya mean. o and defense vs intimidate doesnt work.


im going master swords, master brawler, doc 4-0-3-0. that will keep me unintimidated/unstated.


also vs dot whores they will be nothing to me. if they land a particularly nasty potency dot, ill warcry them and then heal.


add in some unarmed accuracy tapes (fairly common and inexspensive) and some +23 to all ranges vibro knucks and you can land stun and blind at the begining of the fight with ease.


general fight plan:


1. scythe or ph equipped (depending on enemy)


2. intimidate


3. vibroknucks and blind/stun them


4. back to scythe or ph


5. dizzy/kd (through hit 3 and either lunge 1 or 2) or just regular kd if they are too hard to dizzy


6. head hits


7. repeat steps 1-6 untill deaded


note: an unintimidated/unstated swordsman can do vicious damage even when your opponent isnt on the ground.







Doc is nice and all, but your slowing your DPS by having to heal those states. Even if you warcry, it gives them a chance to get their thoughts together. That healing is also using up mind...something we don't have alot of. True, it helps with DOTs, but a smart PVPer will get good Disease/Poison Buffs before going out to fight. Also, changing weapons in a fight means you have to wait up to 5 seconds for them to equip and be usable. Thats alot of time to be standing around. The def states are a much better way to keep dealing dmg out nonstop. Nonstop dmg from a sword to the head is far better. Ohh..and you can't heal those states on your back.


Your template Vs mine would look like this. You trying to stick states on me, but they seldom stick, and when they do, they are gone in mere seconds, and you would never get a Dizzy/KD in..not even worth trying. Meanwhile I am hitting you..putting those states on you, that you are then healing, hitting me for less dmg, while you heal those states...and dont bother trying to heal your ham bar, Im hitting mind...which ou can't heal Who willwear down sooner? Me just hitting at 1 per sec or you juggling healing and hitting all together.



I spent my time as a Master2H/Master Doc, and it is a good template. I didn't do nearly as well then as I do now tho.

when i duel or fight another player and i see they healing all the states..i simply keep spamming states intim blind dizzy poison disease all that healing cost mind in the meanwhile i attack that same mind.....they have to have a very strong mind to keep it up then

Master Swordsman

2040 Medic for stim d's and 1200+ heals


Today ibeat an Elder about a zillion kimos, and a Fully invested Jedi... i'd say this works pretty well in pve and pvp.

you are taking time to state a person, dot a person, and attack. the moves you use to dot me and state me take a LITTLE bit of mind.


i would be taking time to heal my states and dots, and the rest of my time would go to attack. the heales i use take NO mind.


you keep having to state me and dot me so you dont get to do many dmg attacks.

the thing is, you still have a slight advantage. for every state you land, i can heal with one state pack. for every dot you land, it might take 2 or 3 if the potency is high.

since you cant heal, i win, or you swim. both a victory in my eyes.

try it a player who keeps healing uses mind cant put a state on me cant atackt me cant do high dmg cuz he's blinded intimidated, poisond diseased what ever. im talking from own expierence duels wich seemd having no end ended very fast this way, just imagine, u use mind to heal u cant attack me and il do a mind attacks on u. the only way of turning the battle is byturning of the macro, in that case i got what i want an enemy with states

Now another question I have is, Is there any other way to get the speed cap? I know I need +15 Speed to Cap, so couldnt I use SEA's? or Does it have to be FS..cause I could save some skill points and get the cap

template is important, but someone who just pciks up a template and thinks they are uber will go no where. it depnds on you knowledge and skill in pvp.

template is important, but someone who just pciks up a template and thinks they are uber will go no where. it depnds on you knowledge and skill in pvp.

Ya, I totally understand that...but Ive been in PvP for a long time just never used Swordsman, refer to my previous build

The thing is that a template starts you off in PvP, so I wanna make sure its a good one.

swordsman may take a day or two to get used to from what ive heard, but its very rewarding.
