Swordsman Archive

i won't be dropping swordsman but I will be taking up rifleman partially to accompany my swordsman class. Its just something you might have to do to be a threat in the pvp world.

I'm a marksman gone sword. I love the huge number on damage. Scout skills are nice pair too. Pound them from range with noise makers and finish the mind pool when they reach melee range.

Haha what other class can take out 5 people in one swing? Only problem is getting those 5 people within striking range heh. I have taken out 2 people at once though. We swordsman are masters of carnage. Put a medic behind us, or take up some medic skills yourself and see us run behind enemy lines leaving a trail of bodies.

K new problem, kiting MOBs I loved sword right up until a MOB started to kite me in an open area. I'd back off he'd tag along staying in range pegging away, I close he hauls it the other way Guess who went incap first Then I thought traps, but they can't finish and don't hurt the rifle weilding non-creature variety that cause me grief anyway.

So seems to me that rifle/sword is only real solution for soloing toon. Too bad too since well both will go up SLOWLY, sword more than rifle I figure. But its managable, if one started to overtake the other, you switch fora while to catch up. The long road to be sure but I don't really see any other way to skin the cat if its running away and shooting at you
