So just to clarify...

I am a novice 2h and I should go where for fast, FUN and easy exp? I don't to have to bring a stinkin' pet or one of those medical types. My armour sucks (bone - until I can earn enough for ubese) and umm..I use traps.

Thanks.

I just started Swordsman and got up very quick with only doing Kaadu missions on Naboo. Kaadu's are level 14 I think, so you have to be around that level to get the mission(either with another higher level skill or in a group.) Kaadu females give 450xp, males around 700xp. Males group though, so attack them first. If there are two at one lair, try to get one away since they can incap a novice swordsman real fast.
Always use bleeding first, then to some damage. You you go down, most of the time the bleeding kills them and you get full xp. They don't death blow.

At the moment I am after plain huurtons on Dantooine since they give around 1500xp each + 1000xp for the lair. They group though and I get incapped quite frequently but using bleeding and damage attack I can handle them anyway.

I am just looking out for some similar creatures wielding even more xp since the lairs spawn not very much creatures in the missions(the natural lairs spawn like 2-3x the creatures than the missionlairs.)

If you use a pet and/or are a medic, I think Lok is also a good place to go. The easy pirate missions are quite good for xp(and money), too, I think.

then just keep doing the area attack and as you hit the lair more creatures spawn and usually you can kill blues in 1 hit.

I don't know about you guys but I only get 1 XP point for anything I kill in one hit.

And I don't know why its taken me this long to realize, but don't even bother going out for XP without getting doctor buffed first. I washaving a tough time with Tortons on Rori one night. Came back last night with buffs and I was just wading through them. And if you go to Rori, look for Leviasqualls, too.

1) Get advanced ubese

Why Ubese over Chitin? Is it AR2?

4) migrate ALL of your stat points into mind/focus/willpower

Why doyou recommend that?

I have been hunting dant with my PA. Jungle vitro's I was getting about 3.5k per creature and 3k per lair. Also 20k cred missions are nice to have.

Chapter one: Armor

Buying the armor that's just right takes time, patience, and occasionally obscene amounts of money. Armor is your friend, Your best friend, a friend that will take a shot from a blaster or a bite from a womp rat for you. Armor with low Ham costs and high resists to Kinetic and Energy, mainly Kinetic, Will become your new god. If you can't put it on because it's too heavy or it hurts your head, consult your local chef for some sweet delicious food to remedy this situation. Remember to take it off during downtime.

Chapter two: Sweet Delicious food

As we all know, Winners don't do Drugs. They eat Delicious wholesome food. At the moment IT DOESN'T WORK AND I HATE LIFE because of it, but when it works again delicious food like Vegeparsine and Veghash will reduce your downtime To Nearly nothing! Tatooine Sunburns will Make that Power Hammer seem light as a feather with it's +1500 to str and you could dance up a storm with it's +1500 to stamina! You can take food anywhere you go and it has no downtime! Weither on the go or in the cantina, Food is a spectacular way to Boost and Regenerate those HAMs! Food's so great. Buy food.

Chapter Three: The Tank

Though we're not all inclined to become CH's, A good tank will save your skinny foodless ass countless times. A good rock beetle will take the blows of your countless agressors and only complain a little. Chances are he just wants some love, or some SWEET DELICIOUS FOOD. Anyone can have a rock beetle, so try and pick one up from a local CH. Remember to always carry some extra food just in case!

Chapter Four: The Weapon

Finding a good weapon is like findinga good Rakirian Burnout sauce. Some Sauces Are GREAT and you'll see your stats boost like a beautiful sunrise. Other sauces will make you weep, because your focus has gone into the negatives. Make sure you find the best weapon you can afford, which is usually a sliced power hammer, or a good 2h curved sword.

Chapter Five: The Mob.

There are countless Mobs in the world of SWG, and finding that right mob is a daunting task. Me, I used Mountain Warrts. Why? Because I hate them. Find the mob you dislike the most in the world and Kill them like the wind. Over and over. And over. And when you kill them enough to the point where you start to like them, You need to move on. Only your burning hatred for the God forsaken mountain warrts will keep you moving on.

I hope this Guide will be of some Use to you, And remember, An army marches on it's stomach, and so do you!

First and foremost - Hashy's post rocks - still laughing about it.

For any that are just starting the 2 handed tree in novice brawler - here is what I'm doing and it has been working pretty well.

I'm on Talus (my fav newbie spot) and I take a couple rebel missions and on my way out I look for Vynock lairs. These critters (which I hate btw) con yellow and can be taken down with little difficulty. Simply follow these easy steps.

1. Swing very oversized axe at said critter.

2. 2 handed hit 1

3. Intimidate

4. beserk - (using beserk automatically raises your xp output and will until halfway through the swordsman tree when specials become more effective)

Repeat Beserk until critter dies. You also may want to have some Stim B's handy as I usually use one during one of these fights. You only need novice medic to use stim B's and you can always drop it later if you so choose, but for now this is your friend.

Once the Vynocks con white I'll have to find something else...thinking Capper spineflap soldiers on Rori, but I'll let ya know once I get to that point.

Cheers :

Ok, well I'm into 2nd block of 2H and had a weaponsmith make me a curved two handed sword 54-258 2.6 (woohoo). I went out and hit some white cons and they were down in one shot - yellow cons last only a little longer. I then came across one of the many foaming vynocks (yes I hate them too) and they con red. This took a few more shots to take down, but accomplished with little damage to self and resulted in 800+ 2h xp.

With this in mind, I would say as soon as you get a decent 2h sword- look for only yellow and red cons and go to town. I'm should hit 3rd block of 2H tonight after about 5 mins so I'll post again with my findings once I hit it. As per some other posts I've seen in this forum, I'm not going to bother with the Vibro Axe since general consensus is that it is extremely underpowered.

i am hearing good tips for the up and coming swordsman, and that, how about tips from the masters to the people that have only a couple of skills to get before they are masters? like all i need is the last two skills in offense, and master finesse and i can get master swordsman, what would you reccomend killing while solo to top off the last bit of experience before master?
