Thread: POLL what special effect do you think the SCYTHE SHOULD HAVE HAD!
i think the damage should be cold as well just to gie us a veriatly in damage. and really what has weakness to cold so it wouldn't make it an over powered weapon.
And btw i think it would be cold damage as ell because i wsas thinking of the Grim Reaper tehehehe.
but how ever i do not like the electrisity idea just on the fact that power cubes can go into any weapon. so if i make a power hammer with these cubes shold my Power hammer change damage type to electrisity? i highly doubt it would. power cubes doesn't make anything electrical cuz if that was the case we could never hold them without dieing. all they do is streagthien the weapon by emitting a low lvl freqency wave that makes it so that teh sword hardens up and becomes lighter so it becomes faster and lighter. well that is what i think cores do any way
I also think every melee should get one more dmg type.
Cold for swordmen (we hit mind bar, the BLUE bar)
Heat for fencers (they hit fast, lots of friction, also hit the RED health bar)
Acid for pikemen (they have big weapons that can cause festering wounds [bit of a stretch] and hit the GREEN action bar)
Restraint for TKA's (hey, they got 1 dmg type, and specialize in status stuff.. keeps up with their uniqueness)
Maybe St. Gabe or a Dev will see this board and take notice. I just hope there's some way to make the changes retroactive if they do decide to implement this idea. I'd love to log in one day to find that my scythe is now cold dmg
I think its fine the way it is....KINETIC...
I wish they'd give us somthing like STUN for sure... but not on the sythe it just looks like a sword.
But it would have to LOOK like it does stun damage.
Maybe along the lines of a stun baton, a huge STUN mace or somthing like that in future would be nice.
