didnt read all the posts cause Im lazy but ehre is my 2 cents: when started I was Master Swords/Master Doc which is the greatest cause I can bhuff rez heal states and so on, I got bored and I got master doc/master tka and I realized I had trouble killing NS, tuskens and nym and such are easy but no great loot, so I went back to master swords and master doc and it is the greatest pve template ever

how bout both! u can get tkm and master swordsman, plus i think master brawler.

Actually...you could get master swordsman, master tka and master fencer if you wanted to.
Personally as a Rodian, I am going Master Swordsman/Master Brawler/Medic 3200/TK 4304 and most likely fencer 0440.
(Rodians get +10 to 1 and 2 handed melee accuracy)
With medic 3200 you get 800+ heals and more speed than 4040 medic, or 0040 medic. Also the ability to heal bleeds and drag players.
One other thing to remember is food, use snowcake for greater accuracy if you can.

Wow!! Thanks all...
...I forgot to mention (here come the flames) I am a dedicated MCH and i just cannot bring myslef to drop that profession (silly me) so I'm limiting myslef to something like 42 sp if I drop all tka except maeditation tree...which, as a MCH looking for the famed bull rancor baby, is essential.
i thank you all for making my decision for me...I will drop TKM in favor of swords and retain meditation 4. I may eventually drop CH if I get a wild hair and then go either Master doc master swords (seems a lot of you liek that a bunch) or the famed full melee template of M2hand, M1 hand, and TKM...
...for now I thank you all for your superb advice! One of the best forum responses I've ever gotten!!

I used to be a MCH too lupo, but it's pretty terrible now

I was TKM and fencer for all defense stacks - became doc just for this reason. Swords & Docs can rule the day. I have a 566 4.2 speed PH with a good melee pup I can get the speed down and increase the min damgae at the same time.

If you are hunting high end stuff you want swordsman for the blast damage, keep tk4000 if you can, tons of high end mobs are very resistent to kinetic, and dizzy and kd dont stick, niether do many of the states which is what makes tk so good.
Swordsman does better damage vs high end mobs.

ACK, trying sometimes to kd ns with lunge2...worked only 2 times for me....tried many times area3 for dizzy...never worked but 1 time....hunting ns and stuff like this now i only use intidimate2 on single targets or wookiee roar for con intimidate1, spin2 for grp´s, hit3 and headhit3....thats it....ok, forgot CoB....
havin some medic-skills and defense-stack from tka and/or fencer/pike gives uimo one of the bestpve killing-maschines...
tka is a good pve prof but there are some things they couldn´t handle...f.e. ns elder, peko peko albatros etc. and by now only ap1 weapons...

If you did Fencer/TKA/Swordsman you wouldn't be able to get novice medic making urself pointless for PvE regardless of how good ur stacks are and how good ur damage is...
I personally have:
Master Fencer/ Master Swordsman/ Master Brawler/ TKA 4000/ and Medic 0030.
You get some great defence with fencer, the powerboost for tka, good enough healing for PvE, the extras with brawler, and the blast with swordsman... Trust me, you can PvE all the way with this template lol.
But for you since you love CH i suggest dropping TKA and going for swordsman and if u can keep the meditate skills in tka

I've been a TKM since I started, and just became master swordsman. And other than the fact that swordsman has blast damage, which I grant is a huge asset along with granting that my experience as a swordsman is very limited, I don't think it's true that sword damage is better. I can see that with maxed speed it will be, but without VERY expensive weapons and SEAs, TKM seems better to me.
Yesterday I was duelling two relatively new players in the Coronet SP and was using my PH (4.0, 540) with little success, I was winning, but it was taking far too long. So, I took out my run of the mill VK (200 damage) finished the job and went about my business.
i might be reading this wrong cuz its late and im lazy/tired but a a million for a VK is insane, i used to get my 190-200+ VKs for no more than 30k. and the reason it took you so long to kill them is because the PH is pretty unaccurate in PvP, thats why the scythe is better in my opinion, alot faster and way more accurate than a PH. buy a scythe and fight thos two n00bs again and you will see a difference if you know how to PvP, not just spamming head hit or mind or what not. ummmm i need sleep im tired
im tiredmy scythe has like 2.4 speed and the damage is sumwhere is the 400's

i was aTKM took me some time before i could go out and solo enraged rancors. i just started swordsman and i soloed 3 ER. i was 0-0-0-3 (combat xp from pistoleer/bh) the three rancors were attacking at once and i would havegotten killed but i brought all three to half or more than half of each bar. spin attack 1. i have a +2 damage AA so i dont know if that does anything. i have gotten 2500 with the mind hit 2, says its supposed to cause wounds but what ever. it also gives a mind bleed which is usually around 200-300. so in power i think swordsman will win because a tka is really set for its power when it reaches master but a swordsman can get better weapons.
TKM might be better in PvP because it has better moves and is faster than anything really. you are able to knock down, dizzy, stun all that stuff. swordsman has a knock down attack but i think its just one position lower...we have an awsome mind bleed, and the powerful mind attacks the one pool no one can heal really. we have a choice at damage types...two i think kinetic and blast...tka has kinetic, but the razor blade (?) is heat...tka also has a mind hit, and also have a leg hit and body hit. so they are able to focus on every area. swordsman has only head hit that they can focus on, the rest is random.
its really hard to say what is better but the way things are going it looks swordsman is better in PvE but since i havent tried PvP as a swordsman, tkm is better for now

I am not a PvP'er, I hunt on Dathomir and Endor mostly and, as a master Creature Handler I am everafter searching for the elusive Bull Rancor so the Meditation tree really helps. What do you all think...should I drop TKM for swords or just keep TKM? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Ok everyone, look. He wants to know which is better for PvE, not PvP so stop putting post about tka being better for PvP! The issue is if it's better for PvE!!!
