Thread: don't you just love people who run around with a scythe and have no swordsman skills?

tighter damage than a ph, much better accuracy mods (mine are +11 to all), better speed (doesnt really matter i guess, but is still reassuring), and about the same ham costs.
very manageable, especially if ur a medic. but i do agree that it would be friggin awesome if it was changed to ap 3. HELLO, KRAYT DRAGONS!!!

Dont take any offense or anything but... thats the stupidest thing ive ever heard, accuracy doesnt do **edit**, we have +120 when you get master and we should all know that only a master swordsman can ask for changes, because when you are novice or coming towards master you do not have all the specials and mods. Krayts cannot be killed if you use kinetic dmg weapons, THEY CANNOT BE KILLED WITH KINETIC WEAPONS, just making sure you read that. Power Hammers are only good when they are acklay enhanced, mine is 715 after slice I only got 20% slice ive seen some with 800 dmg. Scythe is a stupid sword to make swordsman look cool, its like when a guy tries to please his women he just gives the bi*ch something really shiny and cool looking to shut her up. Scythes are not good weapons, accuracy of a weapon doesnt matter, krayts cannot be killed with kinetic dmg and power hammers are the greatest.
Just remeber this is coming from a master swordsman, One that loves the prof because it isunique, I believe this profesion is the greatest I can see why jedis would rather play a swordsman than their jedi. So please non-master swordsman dont say wats wrong with this profession.

Ive been a master swordsman since late august, and trust me, am well educated with our profession, i bet more so than you. Yes, i am aware that krayts have godly kinetic resist, but i was using what some call "a figure of speech" and trying to get the message across that we could hand out the whoopas$ with an ap 3 weapon.would you disagree with that??
Now, trust me, that -40 from your acklay hammer does make a difference. not in pve, but in pvp. i doubt you pvp a lot, if at all, or else you would be well aware of this. and yes, i have read hauns recent post about his accuracy fortunes, but i have not found the same results. ihit my defense temploiter guildmate 1 out of ever 3 or 4 swings with my -40 acklay (which even you could imagine is not very effective), while with my +11 scythe i hit him about 7 out of every 10 swings (obviusly much better). these results are much better than pre-patch, but still, haun, i believe accuracy is still very important.
So, jedika, why dont you know what your talking about and who your talking to next time you post. Good Buy!, and have fun.

How do you know the scythe weilders have no swordsman skills?
I keep my master armorsmith tag up, if you examine me you'd see badges for mastery of armorsmith, artisan, and merchant - I'll bet I'm the type of player you're talking about here. Truth is I'm 0/4/3/3, with much more xp to come today since BH missions are borked and I'm burnt out on armor crafting from the changes.

It is not your place, Master Swordsman, to put someone down and belittle them for not having reached master status. If anything, the people who are not yet masters are the ones that need to be heard, because they're the up-and-coming set of swordsmen. We seem to have the same problem on the BE Forum, where a long-established master tells some newb to basically shove it because his opinion is worthless. Frankly, I'm tired of it. I am a master swordsman myself, so you can drop the "oh, you're not a master so shut up" thing.
I really think that you need to have your head examined if you think power hammers are "only good when Acklay enhanced," because the non-enhanced one I have now works fine. They're only uber-hammers when they're enhanced, and I think that's an important thing that you fail to realize. "Uber" is the level of awesomeness above "good," and not everything in-game has to be uber. If it was, then combat would be too easy and people would (once again) complain about a lack of content.

Lol, I think that comment speaks for itself as far as the lack of wisdom you possess regarding women
And the scythe does indeed look cool, and it is a darn good weapon to boot. The tighter damage range helps when you factor in damage mitigation, but you probably fail to consider that when using your "Acklay-enhanced hammer" example. Sure, the thing may do upwards of 800 damage, but I bet the damage range is so huge that against anyone with damage mit you'd be hurting.In closing, I'm glad to read you love the profession. I think it's pretty cool too; however, if you love it so much, then why are you complaining when the devs try to add more stuff in order to expand our repertoire? And why are you chasing off people who aren't masters? A profession cannot grow without new people...that's a precept I'd urge you to keep in mind.
But still, it is much better than anything else I have.
An acklay PH is awesome if you have +25 speed, because you swing that baby once per second. As for the accuracy mods...now that dead-eye serum was fixed, that's not exactly a huge problem. Plus you can always try to get +25 accuracy from SEA's.
Yeah, if I could get an acklay power hammer, and some SEA's, I'd be happy, lol. But until then, I'll just have to PWN people with my scythe.
And as for you master swordsman bashing on the lil' swordsman, I'd like to know how long you've been a swordsman? You're probably still in diapers compared to me and Apeist, lol.

Dude, your awesome. lol weve been posting on these boards since summer!!! holy crap. also, on like 90 percent of the issues that have come up in our little timeline, ive happened to agree with your opinion, lol. half the time id read a post and see my view already expressed by you, hehe, and i wouldnt even bother posting.
