I think it's very possible to master most combat professions in a matter of hours. As long as you are not starting from scratch on all the xp, it can be done.Since combat xp can be capped at 300k if you have another mastered elite profession when you start to master any other profession, once you get novice in the new profession, you automatically can train 3 box levels in the line that uses combat xp.....that would leave you with 35k combat xp (need only 115k more for level 4).

Many times those 3 levels in the combat xp line of a profession will give you a great boost and help grind the weapons xp of the profession a lot faster. for example, having capped combat xp when you go to master pistoleer will give you +23pistol speedsoon as you get novicebecause pistol speed is in the combat xp line and we all know speed the most important factor. the novice professions (marksman andbrawler) can be mastered in no time. I can master the 2 hand line in brawler in 20 minutes max just running3 piket missions on dantiooine.

So if your in a cave with static spawns, have good armor, some form of healing (yourself or from a friend), have close access to training.....I believe it can be done.

I mastered swordsman in7 1/2hours myself and I did it running mission on dantooine 400 - 800 meters away, 2 pikets missions in 10 minutes or less and a swordsman trainer right next to the mission terminals in rivers cross on ahazi server....plus 10k for each mission which paid for training (I hate depending on someone else to train me...takes away from my fighting time ).

It might have took me longer if i hadn't already had 300k combat xp saved up and master brawler already. So I'm very certain it can be done if 5 hours.....Hell, I mastered Pikeman faster than swordsman thanks to pikes great area attacks....

So not hard to believe at all.....
