Thread: wanna know how weapon speed really works?

Also, do you have any accurate info on what the multipliers are for various specials?
I'm pretty sure, and all the testing seems to agree. I have personally confirmed it (for myself) with my specials; I now cap 1s on all my special moves, but when I had lesser speed mods, I was capping on my autofire attacks, but not some of my special moves. I know that some of those rifle delay mods are at least 2x, so if the special move mod was applies after the cap, I should have special moves that take longer than my autofire, but I do not.
A lot of the special move modifiers (derived from testing) are listed on the Pistoleer forum as a sticky. It doesn't contain all of them, however. Note however that those values are generally not rigorously confirmed, so if you get a gut feeling that a particular value is incorrect (from use) it would be very beneficial to everyone if you did some tests to double-check.
Ignore what I said about my pet, I tried again last night and I was only hitting twice for every hit that my pet made, which would be 1.0 speed as expected.
i stopped reading some of the bottom posts .. but should i even bother to get a speed slice on my swords once i get master?
it doesn't seem like it .. i will be what .. +70 or +80 on speed at master .. so getting my sword sliced to 1.8 speed which it is at now .. really is pointless isn't it?
just someone confrim this haha i should be master in a week or two now .. just waiting on that **edit** finesse block ![]()
