Well it can be. As far as melee goes swordsmen and fencer are opposite play styles. Fencer is more defensive oriented while swordsmen id offensively oriented. This allows for extreme flexability in combat and intresting weapon change combo between the two weapons. I imagine some one who could master the tactics needed to best combine the two perfessions would be a real threat pvp and pve. there is alot of potential in this combo.

yes the area dizzy is a great attack but in pve ive found that area posture changes almost never work or if they do work they never KD.

The Fencer Area Dizzy used with Swordsman Area Posture Change does work in PVE but from my experience only on NPCs. I've tried it on creatures but when standing the dizzy always wears off. On NPCs, they usually fall down if dizzy and keep falling down for seconds at a time. THere is nothing better than doing that to 5 Dantooine tribesmen attacking me together and seeing all of them fall down together. Its hilarious. I've done it to nightsisters too (only up to rangers though) but they are hard to dizzy so I rarely get all of them. I need to test it on PCs but all of my PCs battles have been BATTLES and not a time to test anything. BTW my character is a TKM/MB/3440fencer/4404Swordsman/Novice Medic

ok for those that dont understand dizzy/posture change it only works on npcs. Never on mobs. period. Been that way since day one. Also its not the only possible combination of fencer/swordsmen attacks. For example Lets say i start off a fight againist an enemy fencer/doctor in composite. Swordsmen dies here as their dodge most likely trumps your moves except your bleeds. A fencer would be a toss up it could either way but you most liekly lose if your not doctor. So what do you do. Well mind hit 2 with power hammer till a bleed sticks, then switch to a stun baton and play defense( Cob, blind, normal attacks)till the bleed kicks in, then you finsih him off with scatter hit 2( nature of the moves allows it to bypass secondary defense mods).Thus allowing a victory they may not have been possible for either alone.

i have seen it work on mobs and in PvP but you don't need swordman sweep to make em' kneel just use lunge with fencer when there dizzyed
