heh, if anyone's on Bloodfin and looking for something like this, I've got some -6 range with 108-440 on my vendor. There are some factory made ones with those stats and then some hand made with stats that vary by a few points.

the way you get those kind of stats is with a max range experimented adv. reinforcement core. with max damage experimentation you get the ones with horrible range mods but with approx. 25 more max dmg.
Right now, I have two different sets of power hammers. One set with damage experimented cores and another with range experimented cores. lemme post the stats.
Damage Experimented:
Condition: 959/959
Damage: 137-467
Attack Speed: 5.4 seconds
Wounds: 31.9%
Point Blank: -31
Ideal: -31
Max: -31
Special Attack HAM cost: 115/37/25
Range Experimented:
Condition 959/959
Damage 111-442
Attack Speed: 5.7 seconds
Wounds: 24%
Point Blank: -7
Ideal: -7
Max: -7
Special Attack HAM cost: 115/37/25
I haven't starting selling any of these yet... but I will pretty soon. So, the question is, are you swordsmen willing to give up 25 min/max damage and 0.3 seconds for a much better range mod??

Any Swordsman that PvP's and knows what he's doing would order them. Probably not worth making a whole bunch and putting em on a vendor though. Better off waiting for custom orders.

Is it worth forsaking damage for accuracy when you're mostly a PvE player ?

I still even with -8 -8 -8 hammers find it hard to make contact in pvp

I had a MWS do one with the ranged experimentatin high, and it turned out very subpar to these! It turned out with -17 ranged mods, but the speed was 7.2, and damage was a paltry 111-334. What did she do wrong!!! i WANT A GOOD ONE TOOOOO!!! *sobs*

It may be a problem with the materials on your server.
The weaponsmith I'm dealing with put together a prototype hammer for me last night that was 5.7 115-140 and -6/-6/-6
He reckons he can do a LOT better in his production run

I bought some 2-handed axes that aren't exactly fast (but I should cap on speed) or high damage dealers but the +37 to-hit mods on all ranges are sweet. I have yet to try them in pvp however, but I'm guessing I would hit more often with these.

Effectiveness as a swordsman I've found best relies mainly on findind skill tape after skill tape, better get to hunting as I have around 20 just sitting around the house waiting for my next suit of armor and clothes. I have +9 accuracy and I hardly EVER miss with a regular hammer of -32 range

Land a stun on the stackers with my tka, and they go down quick using my -31 to all
