We can do just fine without being speedcapped, I have no + to my two handed speed, andI'm a TKM / Master Brawler / Master Swordsman /Medic 1/1/0/0 and I can solo juvie's, canyon's, and giant canyon's, as well as NS elders, It'll just take a lot longer than if you were speed capped,
For a good estimate, I killed a Giant Canyon on my own last night, it took exactly 1 hour (dropped a pearl though so it was worth it), canyon's take around 35-40 minutes, and juvie's don't take much more than 4 or 5 minutes. It'd probably be a lotquickerthough if I used afaster hammer

Swordsman usually will get beaten by a rifleman, but then they arent really the tank type and will usually run off if you get the creature to attack them

And that is the important part! I have done rifleman and I can tell you, if you don't have a tank and the mob is aggro on you, your done. Peace out and let the mob chase down the rifleman and he'll run away. Then you can take your time. Without a tank rifleman is not an easy road...

To give you an image of how good a masterswordsman is compared to a speedcapped one I give you this , an image I made when explaining it to my guildies heh. (The red cross represents the master)
In numbers it can be said (and seen in the graph), that going speedcapped from master will increase your damage per second with a typical PH a bit more than 300 % (no typo).
You be the judge yourself if it's worth getting without speedcap.
