Woot, You get to be on my Christmas card list for such a great idea. I'm forever knicking my knackers with this sword. Guess a sheath would keep the wife happy.

Thing is guys, and if I'm wrong I apologize. Profession fixes are hard and take time because of programming and balance issues. Things like blade storage are different. They do not effect balance and are mostly artwork. They could have fixed carbines long ago, why didnt they? Balance. They could have fixed BH droids long ago for jedi, why didnt they? To keep jedi happy and to get more in the feild and... balance. Many of these fixes are probably already fixed, they just can't implement them until they think it is time. But, sheithes/slings and holsters are different, they are mostly artwork, its like making a new hat, or something close to that anyhow. Or like wookie armor, except once again, does not effect... Balance.

So, all that to say, yeah, fix whats broke but there is nothing wrong with them throwing things like this in as well to freshen things up a bit.

I've heard this idea once a long time ago but didn't stick because professions were really still boroken to think about this. but i think it is time to bring this up but that is only because fixes are going to start coming around in a few publishes.

I realize a visual change is always going to take a backseat to a functional change in the game. It should, honestly. However, one of the most important aspects in playing an MMO is your appearence - whether it's armor, clothing or your weapon. Nothing looks dumber than running around with a big sword in your hand. Looking at my Swordsman nowwith his power hammer in hand, I just look...well, really stupid. I look likea railroad worker for crying out loud. Our character's appearance is important to us - to all professions. Even carrying a gun does not match the sheer visual blunder of a melee fighter carrying a big stick or sword around.

Fix the bugs, and give us something to put our sticks into!

My mum was drinking her tea while I was reading this and spat it out, coughing. I asked her what was up but couldn't get a hard answer, why won't she be straight with me? She's so ridgid at times. I'm so soft, can someone please explain what about the statement above would cause such a stirring?

"something to put our sticks into" sounds vaugely like a reference to putting a male sex organ into a female sex organ
