Thread: The didn't fix us. They actually nerfed us. Look where your sword certs are now.
my fingers are also crossed that this just means they'll give us better swords.
"I find it limitlessly ridiculous that they nerfed the sword profession. It's not like it was bad enough that ranged weaponed professions had a HUGE advantage with the running and bleeding, NOW my sword does a tiny fraction of the damage it used to do.Needless to saythat with the new "improvements" i find myself on my back much more (especially from gloating ranged players), and my satisfaction of playing diminishing rapidly. I even saw this update mentioning increasing bounty hunter damage; can this be true?! Are the developers favoring one type of fighting over the other?! I can't even manage to get one hit off of someone who is running AND shooting at the same time, and as much "fun" as the developers think that is, i personally don't enjoy it all that much."
All pvp damage was reduced by 75% so, in fact, you are doing 1/4 of the damage you were doing 
But I still fail to see how YOU were singled out and how this profession was singled out <shrug>
I haven't noticed a change either, but I did notice that my friend who isn't even an expert 2 handed brawler was able to use his curved swords last night when two days before he couldn't even so much as equipt it...............he does however do less damage because he doesn't have the cert...............
I don't see why you should even be able to equip a weapon you have no cert for..............I struggled to make master pistol just to get the cert for FWG5 which i couldn't equi before because I did have the cert.............
You can equip all weapons.
Your damage is just greatly reduced if you have not the cert for it.
