I have no suggestions other than rely on medic skills, fight only indoors or in cramped streets, or get some faction pets to lay down cover fire. Even moderate players seem to freeze up when they see 3 NPC's with 5000+ HAM's charging them guns blazing, so maybe you can get close enough for a KD...*shrug*

Well I noticed a funny thing as a ranged user. If you are using a two handed grab type weapon(rifle, carbine, DH17 pistol) you will actually stop from running when shooting a target for the first time. One hande ranged(most pistols) didn't do this however. This might have been fixed in the new patch but maybe not, I stopped using DH17 pistols because of this. After the first shot, however, running and shooting is normal. A little tid bit that may or may not give you an edge.

So who can heal a mind bleed? Can a master entertainer? I fought one in a cantina. I hit him with the mind bleed and he ran and pistoled be from a distance. He never did die though.

Anyone with First Aid II can heal a mind bleed. The "First Aid" skill medics get will work against all bleeds.

The ultimate problem is that we don't get a meaningful damage multiplier against pistoleers. You hit a rifleman and you can hurt him, you can't hurt a pistoleer as much as he can hurt you.

Post patch I still one hit people with my 2 hand curved sword and the last 2 hand head hit 3, even against someone wearing armor I one hit. Sometimes if I hit the lowest end of my damage variance it doesn't happen but it still happens regularly. This is not someone prone, this is someone standing. My 2 hand sword is 70-270. Now that I'm making it up the accuracy tree a little more I have started using my power hammer. Its 100-400, a head with it pretty much equals death, just need to get one with the to hit modifiers experimented down if I can. Or maybe I could find a legendary sword core drop (apparently these exists post patch?!?!?) and get the ultimate 2 hander. I have found vibro unit drops and ranged weapon component drops so I'm hoping one is out there.

Mind bleeds screw medics over. Think about it, you're using your mind up to lower your bleeding, but at the same time you're still taking bleeding damage. It's rough. =/

Whats so great about 2h Lunge? I dont understand, it takes like 250 HAM costs when wearing Armor and using a 2h Curved Sword, whats so great about it? Am i missing something???

PvP is all about knock downs at the moment. Doesn't matter if it took 500 HAM.
