If you got enough extra combat xp to get 0003, then buy a speed sliced Scythe and head to Dath and kill Rancors. Kill everything you see that you can handle. Once you get 0404 in Swordsman, use your Powerhammer and HeadHit 3, you'll get the remaining 2 trees within hours.

Your area attacks will let you gain xp at a very rapid pace. I love the looks I get from people when I use area attack 3 on a mob. There like **edit** was that , they all died at once!!!! And the huge but neat circular pile of bodies looks pretty good too.

I love the area attacks, they're great in close quarters like at the Janta cave, I was trying to get some Janta blood and this commando comes in, I draw aggro on half a dozen Jantas, he hits one with a flame and starts kiting it around the cave, meanwhile I'm just spamming areahit3 and headhit3, before too long I'm surrounded by 5 dead cavemen and he's still running around being chased by one very pissed off janta

If you havecarbineersupport then being able to area dizzy and then area KD them is incredibly useful

Here is the key to mastering any brawler proffession in about 20 hours.

(this is pretty much a rich mans route)

Buffs

Kinetic ubese

mind food (ie brandy, ahrisa and a canape if needed)

Spin 1 then later spin 2

Go to Dantooine and do regular quenker(regular because theybeefed up savage quenks in the last pub)missions in a large group. Spin1 the lair until all quenks are dead. You get over 50k of experience per lair and each lair should take no more than 5 minutes. And you should take little to no damage.Alternate mobs would be Baz Nitches(regular, mutant and giant)on dathomir. For swordsman get Defense 1 first for spin 2 then go up the techniques tree for speed. This method has worked for every brawler prof for me and I suspect it would work for any combat class with an area attack.

I agree, though I like the huurton huntresses more, since they give you more xp per kill(around the 4.5K.) Here's how I did swordsman.

Step 1) Get into a "solo group," which allows you to pick level 99 missions by yourself. On my server(Lowca) there are nearly always 1-2 groups of this
nature going on.

Step 2) Get huurton huntress missions(Dant) or Giant Baz Nitzes(Dathomir. Do the "wild" brackasets lairs on your way to or from a mission!).

Step 3) Use a high kinetic resist ubese(70%+) and brandy, ahrisa if you need it. Buffs are of course needed

Step 4) Repeat step 2.

Swordsman is very easy, when you can do area attacks, have good kinetic armor, and buffs. I wrote a macro that allows me to do something else while I work on lairs, since 64K lairs with lots and lots of mobs take about 10-15m to do. I I actually wrote a macro for the Brackasets and Huurton Huntresses, which simply has 4x area attack in it, /stand and repeat(of course a 10sec pause or so, you decide.) You of course select the lair with that macro, since that allows you to do not a thing while you kick their asses with your powerhammer or scythe.

Works like a charm, the /stand is there because they both do crippling strike(posture down) so, you can just turn on the TV or do your homework while you work on a mission

Jinda Cave - endor - 2hMeleeSpin 1 & 2...clear out cave, proceed to orphaned marauder cave, repeat tactic, fly back to jinda cave.

OR - get your but to the genosian cave on Yavin, find one of the two rooms with the 2 minute Crazed Geo respawns, and settle down for some unreal xp gains. The only thing that will slow you down is going to get trained and losing your spawn spot.

spin 2 is best IMO. I haven't crunched numbers or anything but one thing is for sure... having 10 messages every second pop up saying "your attack failed to change the targets posture" is annoying.
