Thread: Swordsman getting manhandled
Great post. I went there last night for the first time and got owned. 
I went in with half of myarmor on and got sniped by some range Genosians.I wrote the, " I want to fight an Acklay," post. By reading this post I know to go in full armor now. Message Edited by TXwarrior on 12-10-2004 12:56 PM

+25 is the cap on ONE accuracy/speed/whatever tape. If you put more tapes into seperate pieces of clothing, they will take effect as well.

No, you are incorrect, they don't stack past +25. If they did, we'd have some armorsmiths with more than two extra points ^_^
To the Original Poster: Your key problem is that your missing toughness, which will greatly reduce the damage that you take. As another poster said, use synthsteak and get medic if you can

He's a 0432 swordsman, stop hurting him with your modesty. Dackrendarck,before MHS is hard to solo that place but it can be done:
1)acklay speed sliced hammer (you can get a 4.0 speed, 250-700 dam on my server for 2.5 mil) and use pups for last 2 rooms (acklay and enh kliniks)
2)Good buffs 2500+, mind buffs
3)goodarmor (a little stun on it)
4)some medic, good B's, pixie+muon, SSS exo, canape+brandy, 1 synth for acklay
5)tactics:
a)intimidate anything you can when fighting
b)warcry/heal
c)be smart and don't aggro the whole cave on you
d)better than area attacks is intimidate everything and smash them one by one with /melee2hheadhit3 (your best damaging special at your level)
e)move quickly
f)acklay: fight him behind that pilon so every klinik must go melee, intimidate everything, area attack until kliniks and spiders are gone then deal with the acklay (at this time you already are under pixie, you'll do fine if you fight only it)
g)/burstrun with the bones and laugh or /burstrun out with nothing and cry

I know I did not mention it in my post, but yes I got owned and cloned.

There is no cap on accuracy, but thats not what I was saying, there is a cap on attachements, there is no effect after the first +25. So, say you have 135 2h accuracy, then you get 160 after tapes. If you use another +5 2h accuracy, it will act as if you only have +160. But if your rodian you get an innate bonus (around +15), so you would be at +175 2h accuracy, which would act like +175. I hope that explains it for you
