and what sucks is when and if SOE kills looping macros, so does it kill our cob macro

this is the macro i use
/ui action clearCombatQueue;
/center;
/pause 40;
/cob;
Works great for me.
The reason i use a 40 second timeout is because i have other macros running at the same time. These macros also use the /pause command.
In my limited analysis of the macro system, specifically the pause function, it seems that all macros use a shared sleep() call. Either all macros are processed by the same object and the sleep() function is global. Or the separate macro objects share the pause timer.
in either case it looks to me that if two macros are running at the same time and are calling the /pause command, their timeout is somehow affected.
So i use 40 as my timeout. Because often times the cob expires after the timer hits. if you use 32 and it expires in 34, you call /center before its expired, and it doesn't get applied, and so you're left without cob for another 30 seconds.
Using 40, i'd rather be without COB for 8 seconds and be sure that it gets applied too late rather than too early.
