Its all about the armor and Intim 2. Get yourself a nice set of pve armor(85%-90%) put in a droid when your not doing high end pve so it doesnt decay. Eat some Thak if it Kd's. You can tank it all day long. You DONT need anything more than Novice Medic.
I've heard this is really all you need also.
Soloing NS Elders I hear is a different story. Lot more prep and doc involved there.

Most important thing is being able to heal yourself IMO. My template is hardly "defense" orientated and I can solo just about anything in the game. My template is
FS Speed
Master Swords
Master Medic
Doctor 0440
Merchant 0001
Allows me to heal myself, which basically eliminates and need for defenses and allows me to buff myself anywhere and sell my loot on my vendor. I basically have no dependance on anyone. The most important thing to a Master Swords IMO is to get your speed to level 92+. Tahat allows you to max your abilities with your hammer. And with this template you can easily KD your enemy, dont think you need master brawler to kd someone because hit3 with a nice sweep does the exact same thing.
I have I think a total of 20 melee and 19 ranged defense and I can tank just as good as any TKM or Fencer, sure I might have to heal more but its no problem. As far as head shots, im all good with 2 brandy and 1 canape. I save the spare slot in case I need another canape and allows me to cycle back and forth between taking a brandy and canape as my filling goes down. Just make sure that you max out the level of your mind in the stat migration. Health and Action are hardly needed.
After speed the next important thing is a hammer with good MINIMUM damage. Dont get caught up in Maximum damage as some may say. A good minimum is better for PVE and PVP. I personally think anything above 250/650 is decent. I would never use a hammer below 250 minimum though. Unless of course its 240/900....But Id still prefer a 300/750.

Master Sword
Master TK
Master Brawler
+6 speed AA
FS melee speed line
80% kin composite
good buffs
ahrissa
brandy
thaktillo (spelling?)(for kd)
ghamorrian battle axe (forgot which quest gives this)(mind disease)
janta knife (mind poison)
650+ powerhammer
Time, time, and more time.
My biggest problem is not damage, I take none when it is intimidated(2) and it always is. I make sure. My biggest problem is I have relatively low KD/Dizzy resistance. I can't take too much thak as then I'm low on other foods. I find that having TK causes me to stand myself back up a lot, even when I am dizzy. I can give up a little on the mind foods though, as the PH uses alomost no mind at all, so I'll sub a thak for an ahrissa now and then to keep me on my feet. I rarely bother with mind buffs, but when i do have a complete set I hardly bother with mind foods. Then I'll use thak and perhaps maybe a synth steak if I think about it. Don't usually need the synth steak.
Oh, don't forget to use /taunt to keep it in front of you. Chasing a krayt around the entire desert is a waste of time, and you don't have much of that. Also if you are dizzy and you try to run down a krayt there is a good chance you'll fall down. Try to stand still if you can.
If you waste too much time the usual flock of riflemen will jump your krayt in a heartbeat.
