Thread: Current state of the powerhammer
Smuggler here, intruding on your forums 
I mistakenly bought a powerhammer, cause I thought it looked like an FWG5. BAAD Muon downer...
Anyhoo,
I figured, well, might as well slice it. I sliced it for 30% speed, so its now 187-467ish (not quite certain) at 4.1 speed.
Is this good enough to sell, or do ya'll want damage slices on them?

Speed slices are good for beginners because they need the low speed. My bud is lucky enough to have a 741dmg powerhammer heh.
If I were you I'd sell that hammer @ 25k. That's what I sell sliced for speed hammers in that range... 3.9 speed's I sell for 35k. I think with a 35% speed slice you can get 3.6 speed. That would sell for a nice chunk.
Mines a 3.6spd PH with 130 -399 and -32 at all ranges. I don't find I miss *too* much but at that speed the HAM costs are hard to bear without a doctor buff.. I'm 1101 though so I'm havn't made the killer accuracy and speed increases of the master swordsman.. soon though :-)
BTW, I'm going career Swordsman.. this profession saved me from dropping the game .. fun as all hell..
I have a 5.4 speed,605 damage -32 range modifier on Bria, this is without a Pup and with 2handed 2 it hits for over 3k damage 
Just a shame I miss 9/10 shots 
btw I only got too 1-0-0-0 Swordsman before deciding to go BH, sorry

Not true.
Damage sliced Powerhammers are only good for bleeds.
Speed sliced Powerhammers would be the primary attack weapon (unless the person in question uses a 2hCurved as his primary).
The problem is with the 4.1 speed. Thats not too good for a hammer. My fastest is 3.4s.
