Thread: With the new Nighstister changes ...

I might have to dump my Ranger skills and go back to the old defence stacking template with some medic. I loved the /areatrack, but it might have outlived its usefullness if they are really as difficult as it seems. I think the defence stacker template is good cuz of the high def vs. KD and Dizzy and the medic to remove bleeds etc.
Do they intimidate you now?

i went nighsister hunting today and it was the most fun i have had in the game ina long time . i am a master sworsdmen / doc and i was utilizing my doc skills fully . healing dizzy is essential because they love to dizzy / posture change , also when i would take on a protector and 3 sidekicks ( sentinals or spellweavers ) , i would need to use 1000+ heal stims .

did the corvette 6 time since the patch ( 5 destroy and 1 rescue ) with a Rifleman Doc. No major changes 5 success ( destroy) with 3 not even dying once and 1 loss ( rescue ). Rebel commodore hit me with 8,5K dmg but between armor, PSD and synthesteack i survived. We both had major difficulties to get out the corvette for the rescue mission with 1/1/1 HAM bar and a completely dead armor ( been incapped by somewhere when on my swoop between Emeror Retreat and Moenia who shot me with 25 dmg)

Same here. I'm a master sowrdsman and 0440 doc Never had the chance to fight nightsisters with their force powers, and special attacks. I went to the Stronghold a couple of days ago to see the change for myself. 1500m away, I was knocked off my swoopbike by ns stalkers that popped out of nowhere. They dizzied me, blinded me, knocked me down, and choked me, and almost destroyed my swoopbike. If I didn't have my doc skills I probably would've been killed lol. That was the most fun I've had in this game in awhile.

Agree with the Fun statement...Elders used to be boring and a chore. My hunting partner and I used to just fire off a macro and read the forums while we killed her.
Now you gotta think, and trade aggro back and forth...he has Medic still and I had dropped it in favor of the polearm line and master brawler. Now I wish I had medic back. A couple of fights we never would have beaten her if it hadnt been for his basic medic skills.
So I would say get medic now instead of the Fencer lines...and prepare to have some fun for once! Those bleeds can be very nasty!

Master Brawler= 77 skill points
Master Swordsman= 63 skill points
total over all is 140 pts.....where is ure other 110 at?

I thought ranger maid the template kinda interesting, but its not really all that usefull. When hunting Krayt or Elders (before the change) it did help finding them a lot. I still havn't been out there to fight the sisters sence the change, today will be the day I try.

Well I went out and fought them, and It was a bit easier then expected, but still a LOT harder then it was. I could take anythign protector down without needing any heals as long as it was a single. I took 2 protectors easy enough, but I got agroed by 2 protectors and a sentinel that KD dizzy me and it was all over. Im thining that healing will be more important then defence now, because a lot of the damage was coming from force powers.
I think with the new changes a few things really need to be fixed. When you are walking along and there is not a single thing on your radar, then all of the sudden your in the middle of 5 Nightsister is one of them. The whole spawn on demand system needs to be tweeked.
I wonder will people be eating def vs. KD food to fight NS now?

The biggest reason to have the Medic skill now is that occasionally NS of all levels will occasionally equip a stun baton! Your doing just fine then BANG! your HAM starts dropping like mad. I even had trouble witha ranger last night when she did that.

Yea, same thing happened to me but with an elder. She whipped out a stun baton and I wound up cloning AND the stupid broad ruined my ride.

I did 2 elders solo, since the patch, and damn, I'm SO glad I was medic 2040 using 40 med use stim Es. 800 tick bleeds that take 10 /firstaids to heal, getting ganked by the other NS spawning again while you're trying to focus on the elder.... It was rough, BUT:
Elders no longer exclusively drop premium and flawless crystals. I got 2 "fair" crystals from them....what a waste.
