something offensive that did some real damage or effect would be spot on, but i agree with 70% offense 30% defensive as we have no defensive ability at all

I would like to see both, but I am leaning more along defensive. We all know that the melee classes are supposed to be tank classes and not one of us is even close to equaling the tanking ability of a basic pet.

think about why for a minute....


heavyswordsman isn't very defense oriented. i think the idea is to take the other person out quickly with strong blows, so that you will not need to rely on defensive measures. a defensive oriented heavyswordsman really doesn't make much sense since it is an offensive position.

Defensive. Because the offense is a good defense. Unless it's a really cool manuever like with a buncha backflips and a kick to the skull that causes knockdown. In which case I want that.

Offensive - just because everyone knows how weak our offense is compared to all the other combat classes. Just look at the PvP damage thread.


If they balanced our damage output then i would say mixed but until then we need more offense.
