even as a swordsman i always thought it was stupid that we could solo the cave. just didn't think it was right :/. Yes i did solo it many a times but still didn't think it was right. it was supposed to be a high lvl group cave... which it failed at being :/.

even as a swordsman i thought it was great to solo the cave or anything else i pleased. Freedom=happiness. solo or group, at least there was a choice.

i didn't say i wasn't fun to solo it the first few times i did it however that cave was not ment to be a solo cave when the devs put it in. but of course the devs failed to impliment it right. all it became was a heavly camped cave. if you remeber when it went live the geono cave had more people in it then Bria had people in coronet at the time. This was like this for a few months till people started to weave out.
And as i said the geono cave was ment to be a group cave but failed in it's attemped, because the devs did not know the limit too what characters could do in there game.
I have nothing against soloing mobs. hell i did it all the time. but i always felt that some things just shouldn't be solo'd and the geono cave was one of them. and in the CU Solo play is not gone. the game is not limited to just Group play there are still high lvl mobs that are soloable. like NS for example. there are still a few NS out there that you can solo. which i feel is good. you can solo NS from rangers down but from NS sentinals and up in lvl of NS it would be ether really hard to kill or impossible.

I went to the geo cave in TC-3 and it was impossible to get to the first door. I was a TKM/MBrawler/MSwords/Fencer0404/Pikes0010 which gave me 330 melee defense and there were 4 enhanced kiwis in the hallway were they used to be two, incapped me in one hit. I know we shouldnt be able to solo the cave, but at least we should be able to get into the easy areas to kill geos for loot.

I fought three duels against good opponents. I died twice. Why? -Rooted-. That's the only reason. I ripped through the melee guy I fought. Try critical strike. I am not having many real issues (except root is overpowered imo)

went to TC bria master swords man master doc nearly died fightign 3 lvl 60 banthas im lvl 80 was wearing 5255 battle armor it didnt absorb worth a crap also i have melle and ranged defs of 185 -190 never got missed at all not a once. doesnt seem to me the def. skill work at all comsdiering these mobs were 20 lvls lower then me they should have missed at least 1 attack.

Shouldnt those tapes convert to 2H defense though?
Seems like a VERY easy thing for SOE to do.
they should give you a choose to change it to ether 2-hand defence or carbine defence. since it was a mod for both of them.
