Thread: whats a good swordsman temp for pvp?
IMO its all about the ppl. behind the toon(s)...and btw. intimidate2 stucks afaik within max. 3 or 4 attempts and can be donein 30m range...

My template is very similar to this, except I only have 2/0/0/0 Doc, and 3/0/0/0 Fencer. The problem I've found is that although I can cure states, my defenses against them aren't high enough so as soon as it goes it's back again. When someone combines dizzy/kd with some DOTs, I get severly owned.

AH HA!!!! ive been wondering that! most ppl dont believe me when i offer them the notion that defense vs intimidate doesnt work.
hey naruk what were u trying to say in that last post? if it was intimidate stacks and has 30 meter range yea i know... and could somebody pls tell me what afaik means??

Well, with that temp you can't heal disease or fire... IMO its well worth dropping all defenses other than swordsmans in order to cure those 2 things (plus you get more healing speed).
Only problem I have is with MRM as i said, but that can be negated

why?? the defense keeps them from pummeling you obviously, the warcry 2 from master brawler lets u delay the jedi and get 4 heals in without the jedi being able to attack you, the option to use 2 different lunges, 1 a posture change and the other a knock down, and swordsman naturally are good vs jedi because of our toughness mod, and master brawler gives us like +5 toughness.
with the template i mentioned in my first post on this thread i take jedi pretty well, but im sure there are better.

Thanks for the advice APEist_theReb. Also, would Force Sensitive skills like enhanced melee speed/accuracy and other FS skills be worth it?
It works well against everything if you learn how to use it properly.

And some of us have Doc in our template, thus can't afford to spend points on ranged mitigation because we need the points to be able to cure crazy stackers like this lot from all the poisons and diseases.
Also, how many 1k dmg T21's do you have on your server?
On Farstar, the only ones that are over 1k dmg are the exceptionals, and you hardly see them every day...
