Pretty much what I am at the moment...apart from the fact I need to give up artisan and ditch my vendor and get meditate 4 back (I miss it!).

I dont do PvP but guess if fencer is that good ill give it a go again soon.

Mitigation works no matter what (smugglers get both ranged/melee). From my understanding only Dodge, Counterattack and Block will only work when equipped with a weapon tied to that attribute.

I took the pistoleer because turrets/at-sts would chew on me a bit, and I use to be the wrecking crew on a base takedown team. So soon as I got that ranged mitigation II I could sit in front of a turret all day long without worry.

I dont see why people get 4xxx in TKA and novice medic. If you need to heal with a def stacker template and buffs then you are just prolonging your death, not preventing it. But im not one too talk I am a Swordsman/Doc so i can heal myself lol.

Some of us, (myself included), do not like HAVING to find buffs to do anything in this game. As such, having novice medic is great for some PvE action if you cant seem to find a doc, or for those instances when you load into Coronet as an overt imperial with no buffs. You would also be amazed at the respect you get by PvPing unbuffed. Sure i'll die, but I kill a few before my time is up.

Also, having some 650 base heal stim Bs helps out alot.

Yep, I've had that template (including cap), off and on, for about 6 months now. Muahahaha!

master tka, master swords, master brawler, fencer 3/0/0/0, medic 0/0/4/0. allows use of stim d's (and maybe cure dizzy/stun/blind/intimidate packs if i can find some), max ranged/melee defense, plus the benefit of all of tka, and the nice additions at master brawler.

This'll probably be the build I pick up after they dump ranged mitigation =]
