this is my 4th char,

1st one: rifleman (i was a noob heheh)

2nd tailor/pistoleer

3rd: commando

4th (current) swordsman/medic (gave up master marksman for swordsman)

i currently have been a swordsman for a month (give or take). and instantly i fell in love with the profession. not just damage output but it was unique, the samurai in a gun filled world if you will. this profession has massive potential and it needs to be realeased. ive tried as you can see the ranged combat road and had nowhere near as much fun as i do now, and thats what the game is about, having fun

Please allow me to clarify, i did not suggest paralizing attacks.I was suggesting that we have some sort of attacks that will even the playing field against ranged combatants. The paralize idea was in () meaning that it is an idea im kicking around and not the idea that will get implemented. Also on a spelling note,I am relaxed whenI post on thease borads so i let spelling lack a bit (for that i am sorry). Also if i may, I feel that being a martial artist give unique insight in designing an effective combat style. I admitI will not be writing the code or whatnot butI can offer suggestions. If acceptedI will be the link between us the players and the DEV team.

We should all work togeather to bring out the best in our profession. I apprecate your assesment of my ideas and hope we all work togeather in the best intrest of the swordsman.

i am one box away from master, (need last finesse box)

the issues at hand are.

1. Special attacks (or lack there of)

2. Defencive attacks or abilitys.

3. equal advantages when facing a ranged combatant

4. Utility abilitys (meditate type skills)

Thease are the issues that i will consentrate on. From what i gather on this board thease are the most important issues facing the Swordsman.

ninjajedi22,

1) In the "Comments on Cleavers" post(9/22/034:01 am), you mentioned you were 1/2/1/2. Did you nearly finish mastering the 2H tree inless than 3 days? (from where you were)

2) Also I found some of thelanguage (i went through many of your old posts .. yea i know.. butthatslife when you run for office!) less than desirable. It's a suit and tie job. You have to get up early and shave and present yourself and your emails in immecable fashion. The emails, where gamer world meets the Real World/Professional Business people, must be free from emotion and bias and you seem to be quite the opposite. Thats not a flame at all for I myself am all over the place, very emotional, not a leader, horrible speller and on down the line. Which is why I choose to support movements and projects and not lead them.I know my limitations and strengths.

3) There are many people here who have been with the 2H profession/skill since the beginning and many of them have read every thread and I truly would rather see someone with that kind of experiencefill thecorrespondent position. That experience is very important becasue they knew what we felt like in previous patches... what we could do and not do and so on. And I'm not being clicky (cliquey ?) because I am not really buddy-buddy with any one here. (although I look up to a lot of folks here though)

Very good points. thank you you have given me insight. As for a suit and tie type job, i am in one everyday in RL. I know how to act, what to do and what not to do with hanldling the public. To address my exp, as a matter of fact i have had a few days off and did alsmot non stop squil runs on Tatooine. netting about 50k exp per run, avrage 10 runs per gaming session = 500,000 exp. i have gotten about 4 hours of sleep per day. I admit i powergamed my way but i know what needs to be done.

Somtimes long shots pay off big.

I am convinced i am the best person for the job. It is all up to the team that selects correspondants if they agree with me.

Thank you all for your comments. You have inspired me to even greater asperations in this hopeful position. I am glad to see you care about who your correspondant is. That inspires me to work even harder if i am selected.

Honestly I don't really care who the correspondent is as long as we get one fast and they just tell the devs pretty much what we say on the board.

Agree w/ Arkon.

Correspondent is only "the voice" of a class ...

Use the Mail to Devs/Post like Goreki will be a good way to continue Correspondent/Our work.

I agree Arkon, as long as the correspondent listens to the swordsman community and pushes for what we want I dont really care who it is .
