Well, I do feel the unarmed exp should be the hardest to get out of all the melee classes. But at the end, I think Teras Kasi Masters should be better than Master Swordsman.

Why? They actually mention teras Kasi in Star Wars books and such. It is an elite skill, and it just seems more Star Warsy. I think one on one Teras Kasi should be slightly better than any melee fighter though I dothink Swordsmen are the better soldiers on the battlefield against multiple enemies.

*shrugs* Not like I really have a technical answer, just think in the whole scheme of things I don't mind Teras Kasi being slightly better than us, just wish Pikemen would get a bit of a boost.

Heheh, actually what I wouldn't mind having for Swordsmen is some sort of Suicide stab when the Imps are surrounding you and you don't want them to take you hostage (i.e. rip faction points off you) You should be able to fall to your knees and just run yourself through. Would be a nice animation.

Sorry if I'm not a proponent of us getting more UBER L33T skills, I wouldn't mind something useful filling that Advanced Finesse tree, but otherwise, I'm pretty satisfied with Swordsmen.

If one melee class is to be better than the others then it should have been the ONLY melee class available.

That being said, teras kasi may have many advantages in pvp or even other situations, but I am able to kill stuff EASILY I would not be able to were I a Teras Kasi rather than a Heavy Swordsman. This is due to my specific combination of classes that include heavy swordsman rather than just being a heavy swordsman.

I'm unaware of all the pikemen problems out there but I feel thisgame did not warrantfour melee classes. Assuch some were bound to get gimped out to no end and othersrelatively over poweredwith rational such as "they are in the books". If that is the rational for them to be more powerfull then by what rational were other melee classes added at all? And if "diversity" is the responce then what is the point in diversity if the only real difference is one is weaker than the other?

Unless there is balance to these classes, the weaker classes will eventually be limited to people that just LOVE that weapon type or have devoted too much time to the class to change. This would be a very severe flaw adding a strong "second rate" quality to a game that is in my oppinion very fun and has the potential to be great.
