Thread: Wondering how to obtain the Two-handed Kashyyk Sword
Yeah we got several new weapons, BUT..
Most of the one-handed weapons from ROTW are far getter than any of the other one-handed weapons (junti mace, acid sword, blade of Nethrois (or whatever is called.. reward from Wookie Chief) etc.) The two-handed swords, in comparison have been very sub par, both when com pared to our old elite weapon (the miserable looking powerHAMMER) and the new fencer weapons. Why dont the devs see this to be as puzzling as we do? As swordsman is supposed to be the number one damage dealing profession in the game (w/ Riffleman a very close second) why then do we have some of the weakest weapons in the game (the powerHAMMER can kiss my ass.. i dont even like Thor.)
Guess I gotta keep trying for the Executer or drop swords, go fencer, and use the Soulleacher (or whatever the Myydril chief quest reward was called) instead....
Wish they had some kinda gimped weapon trading program like for the one forpets.
For your information the reason why fencer weapons have more max damage then two handed is because swordsman has more speed modifiers then fencer does. So even if you went fencer for the sword you would still be swinging slower then you would with a two handed weapon, therefore doing less damage with the one handed weapon then if you would use a two handed weapon.
Not only is Swordsman faster then Fencer but it also has more Accuracy Modifiers then Fencer does.
If you just use fencer specials there is no way that you would ever out damage a swordsman. Even if you wanted to keep the swordsman specials you would still have to sacrafice either 1) Doctor 4000 or 2) Master TKM with the Improved COB.
Conclusion: Fencer will in no way out damage a Swordsman, even if a Fencer has TKM and Swordsman with it, it still will not out damage a swordsman weapon because of the extra speed modifiers that are under swordsman. The only profession (besides maybe jedi) that can do the same or more then a swordsman in damage is the Rifleman.
