I just want to thank you all for posting your ideas. It will be harder to agree on the exact specs a scythe should have. I am hoping this to be an idea thread that the devs will eventually notice, or that ourswordman correspondent would pass the ideas to the devs.I only used the RIS armor as an example of how it can be implemented in the game. I certain hope thedevelopers have sense enough so that it doesn't take extremely rare resources/components to make them.As for the type of the dmg and amount it will dealt, it should be our top tier weapon, very much like our PH, except maybe more accurate (although with all those kryat tissue range weapon, i wouldn't complain about it being more powerful)

So basically the scythe should haveat least 2requirements if it's implemented in the gamefor it to actually be worthwhile to use:

1. It has to be a WS schematic, maybe w/ one rare component/resources at max (e.g. rancor tooth)

2. It has to be a top tier weapon, with dmg output similar to the powerhammer, probably with different dmg type

Feel free to add any ideas for additional requirements.

I wonder can u cut grass with a scythe?(Thats what they're normally used for)

I agree we need a new weapon....but maybe your looking at the wrong parts of why. Not sure if this was mentioned yet and i got sick of reading so i'll go ahead and say it.....HAM costs! Im sure just like me....alot of you have died due to using specials and losing all your HAM, you get spit on, fall down and die. I like the weapons we have now but somthing needs to happen with the speacials costs.....PLEASE.

hmm should it be a weapon smith schematic i don't think it should. not this weapon any way. But should it compare to a ph and a curved sword. yes i believe it should as i beleive all quest items should be. I mean all non craftable weapons. i mean you can only do these quests once so after they break they are no more. so you whould have an extreamly insain weapon better then ph and curved combined but they decay at a fast rate and when they are gone you will have to pray for one to drop off of a force sencitive ncp or anouther high lvl ncp.

and to the person that said the scythe should be a pikes weapon as we have stated in like every forum dealing with these we have said they are not the weapon Death carries around. this weapon is a sword like weapon that looks bad ass. you know one of the swords you would carry around just to show it of to everyone you know showing how bad-ass you look with it and then whould duel them and show how bad ass you really are.

can't wait for these and i've been waiting lik since this game came out for one of these. i just want one now just so i would not have any peoblem wihth this profession
