Thread: How to master swordsman fast?
Just got novice last night. I group my mount just for xp bonus. I did ok with the regular huurtons but only 2k a pop, but the Quenkers were giving me close to 4k a pop. Dive into the middle and spinattack1 with power hammer. Only using half armor (BP, helm, both arms and bracers) since action is rarely an issue and whatever crummy buffs I can still use from my days as a Doc until I have to lose those skill points. My composite isnt even all that good a lot of 50% arm pieces encumbrance sliced, but so far no trouble.
Bols gave me trouble as did somethin else I forget what, but the savage quenkers were giving great xp.
Dont forget Muon Gold and make a macro for your stim B that will take off your helmet, selfheal, and put your helm back on. Lifesaver.
I just finished powerleveling through swordsman a couple days ago. on christmas eve I got over a million XP in about 6 hours. let me tell you how:
get a speederbike, get 70% kinetic armour, get a good powerhammer (600ish max damage), get doc buffs (every 2 hours). go to dathomir, get giant baz nitch missions and use your speeder to cut down travel time. at 4.5k xp per nitch, 6 nitches per lair, and 5k xp for the lair you get about 32k xp per mission, and the missions go VERY quickly. (11k cash for the mission is always nice too).
get defense 1 first for spin attack 2, then go up techniques to 4, then finish defense and save offense 'till last. you're doc buffed and have good kinetic armour, so the fastest way to do the mission is to run straight up to the lair and use spinattack2 on the lair. you'll kill the baz nitches as they pop and surround you and the lair, takes about 5 to 10 min to finish a lair. travel time is longer than lair kill time, so the speeder is essential.
anyways, that's how I leveld through swordsman fast. YMMV but if you don't go for doc buffs at LEAST use tatooine sunburns so you don't kill your own health using your powerhammer. you'll probably need a creature tank if you're not buffed. if you're not going to fight buffed youmight want togo up the defense tree before you do techniques.
Im currently 0343 in sword and master brawler.
On Endor there is a cave SE of Smugglers outpost that has ewok look-alikes. It's the last POI in your datapad. Most are vulnerable to blast and kinetic and the tougher ones have low resists on these.
I have Rifle bleeds, so I bleed one at a time to pull them if they are of the veteran type.
Plenty of spawn and no back and forth travel for missions.
