My thoughts:

First and foremost: The lines should be able to be turned off. I like them myself, but it's perfectly understandable why people would not like these. Would it really be so hard to give options to disable these?

Second: Silver looks better than red in my opinion. I like the flash also.

The little "flash" on the powerhammer is incredibly annoying

actually the 2-handed curved sword also flashes in the middle of its swing, watch it and you'll see (i jsut tested this today)
