Yeah, they have a nive selection of vibro swords in KOTR.. why not here

and heat or cold damage would be nice..

AP3 mean Armour Piercing 3, there are 3 types of AP

AP1, AP2, and AP3



armour piercing 3 = heavy armour peircing, the bestestest you can get

The chance that the hack is gonna get upgraded is pretty slim, but I am keeping a few schmatics just in case.


Anybody hear what happend whith thoes new weapons that wer in teh .TRE files a few patchs ago (patch 9 I think)? At the time it was speculated that they would come in with JTL, but it dosen't look like it. Maybe StGabriel can look into it if he gets the chance.

ap3 is heavy armor piercing and if we get that lol we would over power pvp even with kinetic or blast think about it t21 heavy armor piercing hits 80% energy armor for 700 dmg and that it a t21 with a pup with 658 max dmg. now a acklay power hammer with heavy armor piercing dont get me wrong might be a bit even if are accuracy stays bad withthat weapon but on gorath ws friend of mine made a power hammer with +14 to all mods on it so heavy armor piercing is a bit out of hand unless are dmg goes down and plz MAKE A REAL SWORD i pay 15 dollars a month i want a sword for heavy swordsmen or just call usMaster sledge hammers.

I believe we need cold dmg ap2 weapon and an ap3 weapon. I mean we are swordsmen we cleave things into little bits in a few slices. we are suppossed to be strong of course defense is another issue but we need the cold dmg and ap3 to be more effective in pve and pvp. cold dmg will be the pve killer of course. I actually think the axe isnt bad as it is. Maybe make this one the ap3 kinetic dmg one and make another sword say NS sword? cold dmg can be crafted just gotta loot part offa an elder or something.

I fully agree. Swordsman needs cold dmg ap2 and ap3 kinetic dmg. I think the pikeman Vibro Lance needs ap2 and so does the NS lance. Also add an ap0 stun pike so pikemen can actually do something in pvp against armored opponents. Make it low dmg like 75-200 3.5 speed or so. I believe adding that will fix most of the pvp probs. Same as if TK gets razor knuckler back. Swordsman should ahve blast and cold, rifleman has a stun, fencer has a stun, TK should have heat or something, pikes needs stun, carbineer definitely needs a stun carbine, and pistoleer is set with the geonosian sonic blaster.

Armor piercing is ap when u attach a number onto the back of it. Thus ap0=no armor piercing, ap1=light armor piercing, ap2=medium armor piercing, and ap3=heavy armor piercing which only the T21 and commando rocket launchers have(though the rocket launchers suck...)

Ok, here's my question, why all the whining about TK getting another damage type? They only have kinetic, which means, many of the high level mobs are untouchable, NS Elders and Peko Peko Albatross, to name only 2. I agree why put out a weapon, that is comparable but inferior to the scythe. I would love to see it have another damage type, but would like it to be well thought out,every combat proffession should be able to damage any mob, swords is fine so far, I have yet to run into anything I can't cause serious pain. I am happy, I think it is TKM's who deserve the right to complain, not swordsmen. Just my 2 cents.

Personally, I don't think Swordsmen should ever get AP3. I cna see an arugment for Pikeman getting AP3, but not swordsman. Though I do agree it'sa bit silly that the hack is a watered down scythe...


That aside as an It seems to be that the scythe should be a fast weapon with moderate damage and the hack a slow weapon with high damage... *shrug*
