Hack is just a waste of inventory space, i really hope the devs can do better than this half assed weapon.

super weapon? did i miss something(i am swordsman with a decent bit of tka too) the new vibro blade is light pierce still and does heat damage. so kinetic and heat which gives tk 2 damage types like most others minimumly have and light pierce is pretty weak. Also heat is fairly resisted isn't it?

I think the new axe LOOKS great, but it fails to offer us anything new. I would like to see it differentiated from our other 2 usefull weapons. The damage type needs to be changed to anything other than blast or kinetic, or make it the equivalent of a t21.. 8 second attack speed and AP3. The fact that its an axe and not a sword does not bother me. Fencers/Swordsman are just titles that give the wrong impression, the classes are really actually 1 handed and 2 handed. 'Master 2 handed' just isnt a very good title.

Once again I love the Scythe. It's perfect. The hack should be a different damage type if TK gets heat.

Why? We have Blast and Kinetic and TKs will have Kinetic and Heat. Each have 2 damage types. Also, the new Razor Knucklers aren't going to be that common since they need NS vibro motors.

Yes TK's have meditate and a lot of variety which is their strength but they pay in a lot of other areas. The professions are suppose to be different with different strength's and weakness's. I am not trying to pick on you or anyone for that matter but I really don't like it when people ask for different professions to be equal instead of balanced.

I was just pointing it out, tk isnt a big weapon based profession so their weapons and ours shouldnt be compared.


NOT saying it is not a weapon profession at all for all those thinking about flaming me on that, its just not a big one.

Needs to be AP3 or non-kinetic, non-blast damage type.

yeah, if it does hit live like this, I dont see the point in trying to get one.

Your kidding about saying Swordmen have better defences tehn TKM's right?


Swordmen have one of the worst defencive classes in any of the elite combatclasses in teh game. only profession with worst defenses is Pike. fencer and tkm have the best defences in teh game.


Tkm have high randge/melee defence. highest toughness, and defence acu...what ever it is called. Tkm's however do not get anything out of the COB ablilty. the only way swordmen can possible get any defences to protect them in pve and pvp is by going up a high defencive combat profession like rifle tkm and most famously fencer.


Tkm was mad to be a 50/50 profession okay in Pve and okay in PvP and has nothing in where it really shines well except in pvp cuz most classes are really broken right now.but any way. Tkm's have alot higher defences then Sword. but of course not as much as fencer.

I agree TKM has better numbers for defence and i should have gone into detail about what i meant. COB and def acu are not working properly for tkm at the moment and havent for quite a while. There are by no means defense chumps but i i have noticed as has one of my friends that is both swordsman and tk that he is not able to tank high end mobs as TK but while doing Hammerman uhh Swordsman he can.


Still i meant for the main concept of my post to be that TK has a different focus and they pay in some important areas for that but more and more we as a community(SWG not Swordsmen) always ask for equal not useful and different. We want rifle brought down in speed and damage yet also complain about range issues where seemingly people would only be happy if pistols used the same range, speed, and damage as a rifle, or carbine...so what would be the point of having different professions is any one was as good at everything as the next.


I worry that the combat rebalance will signal an equality in professions that makes nothing unique in function only in look and style.

From what I understand, all the new weapons in the Death Watch Bunker are designed around the combat balance. So you really can't compare the Executioner's Hack to a modern scythe since the scythe is destined to be toned down in the combat balance. In the end the scythe may retain its speed advantage but take a hit in potential damage when the Combat Balance goes live, leaving the Hack as a slower, but harder hitting alternative to the Scythe.
