Hey my holo told me to go Master Swordsman, I dont know anything about this class at all, you guys have any tips to help me out, Thanks

Put the pointy end toward what you want to hurt.

(That was a blatent rip-off of someone's post from four months ago, sorry I forgot your name or I would have quoted/credited you).

Basic knowledge, get some armor if you plan on living long, get it sliced (special moves eat your HAM), try to get a fast powerhammer (more bang for the buck), and learn how to avoid getting aggroed if you are a CH or in a group. Rest is just common sense.

if you have a pet, let it take aggro and then stay 5-6m away from the mob and you won't take any aggro 99% of the time. if you get any closer than 5m, you will catch aggro.

also, if there are more than one mobs, and pet is tanking them, do NOT use any area attacks, one mob will stay on pet, but any others you hit will go straight for you.

I too just rolled swordsman. I started out as a BH, the first holo said pikeman.... so i did... the second one said swordsman... this isnt' funny... lol... but anyway... i'm just gonna do what i did for pikeamn... kill everythign in sight. and rebels give awesoem xp... plus a faction point bonus....

My first Holo said Squad Leader... after I got done crying I started doing it, and because of the XP fix I actually finished it in 2 days...lol

Second Holo said... Master Swordsman.. At first I thought... Cool, I kinda allways wanted to get swordsman dating back to my rifleman days...

Then I got thinking about it, I'm almost master TK right now.. and while I can fight npc's by doing dizzy/knockdown, and then switching to sword, it's gonna take me a long ass time...lol

Oh well, swords look cool. Too bad our strongest weapon is a frick'in hammer...why can't we havea cool sword as our best weapon?

no other way but to grind it out, preferrably solo with a pet. That seems to go fastest for me. After 3 days of off and on playing, im at 1-2-1-2, it's a long road ahead, like doing bounty hunter all over again.

get a speed sliced hammer and get the speed line. Then use a damage sliced one and get area attack and kill many mobs at a time. Will likely need doctor buffs to do this. Should master it in about 2-3 days.

phisig can you please list what you have mastered ? i have a similar holocron pattern..

Swordsman (holo 1 - blue)

Squad Leader (holo 2 - blue)

im guessing you may have used a sith holocron since you got the squad leader first if we have the same pattern..

i too was given swordsman as my first jedi holo.... i was a master artisan. architect, medic and dr before.

no previous mastery,

dabbled to: Novice medic, pistoleer 0,4,1,2 , CH 4,3,3,3 scout 4,0,4,0, Marksman 3,4,3,4 when I received holocron.
