Thread: we are about to get VERY powerful
Where did you hear about this?
I don't want to get TOO powerful, cuz then everyone will cry nerf and we'll end up worse than we are now.
stop to think for a sec
if specials eat your secondaries, you cant wear armor, or will be able to use few specials
my secondaries are low with my set of armor on, my con is down to 7
so no specials for me, as i read it
not sure i like it
but, im a flamer so my special only has a ham cost of 22 or so
HAM costs don't take away from secondaries... They take away from the MAX attribute of the primary stat, but regen very fast.
Thats horrible for me. I drop myAction to next to nothing very quickly with my 1.6 speed 2h curved sword but I never worry bc I can heal it in 1 kit. Now I run myself almost out of action and I can be 1 hit O.o
Unhealable wounds no matter how fast they regen is idiotic
Ok:
- 'Damage' taken from specials regens very fast, but that 'damage' can't be healed
- Damage taken from enemies can still be healed. So if you have armor and your not taking alot of damage from enemies, and your special ' Damage' is regenerating very fast, then you've got nothing to worry about.

To be honest, no one can really tell how this will play out for any class. This is really a double-edged sword. It regens faster, but is unhealable.
This could turn out to be either a great success, or a total flop. Let's hope they get this right.
The easy answer is to log onto TC and try it out.
My roommate and I did so, and tried a few things. I was little worried, since I'm usually the group Doc/CM, but in practice, this is a *much* better system. We tested it with Carbine specials, since they were easily the most severe.
The regen rate is very visible. It's hard to relate the speed of something like that... just eyeballing it, I'd say you'd regen a 100-point special in about 2 seconds, maybe faster.
I dearly hope this goes live. Not only does it make more sense (I break my arm every time I swing my sword?) but it works better, too. And, since it applies across the classes, I don't see many Nerf cries from this one. The TKM that benefits won't be crying just because it helps the Swordsman, too. Or the Bounty Hunter, etc, for that matter.
yeah the regens is really fast
i hjit burst run it did like 100 to all my pools yay for no exploration and before i could ctrl c they were almost gone it was great and insainly fast heal time. this maybe good or bad we will just have to wait and see
