I believe the crazed genosians hit with stun damage, so your 80% kinetic composite armor didn't do diddly to stop their attacks.

Well in my experience this cave can be simply a luck of the draw. I happen to be a MHS/MD and can usually do ok in there if im in a small group. Sometimes I die never even hitting anything in the first room, and sometimes I can fight to the firespider. 1) Get in a group, and use tatics - pets first, if the pets go down 9 times out of 10 the stuff in the cave will aggro themselves, send in fencers and TKA guys there high defence mods will keep them alive a good while then come in hard with your hammer, and always use area3 when fighting Bug men to force them into meele combat(the new imperial PSG's work wonders against the fan stun shot wich can kill you through your buff in one hit). 2) if you want to go solo work slowly but dont hang around for a respawn and memorize safe zones. Try to hold out for a group of people to come buy and work something out with them or just give them a hand with the aggros (you could wait till they get aggroed and just walk/run by but thats kinda weak) The NPC's have the codes to the doors and need to be taled to or shout out for the code someone wil usually shout it back. Do not try to take on the Kwi's by yourself, everything else is you can do alone, the Bug men you can take on 4 or 5 with area3 and COB the Kliks are gonna give you a hard time but 2 at a time can be done. Just go in and expect to die in one hit sometimes it just happens. Also try not to run out of the cave..You get a message that says the security system has been reset and this forces a respawn (not good), and anoter thing look on the walls and shut off the gas so you dont poisioned. The last thing I can think of is there is a room wich requires a key card not a code so read a message from the girl npc and return to the bug guy when you get to a door and use the keypad the option to use the keycard will be highlighted, just click it. Well hope this helps some, and be prepared for people who think they can solo this cave to pull aggros on top of you.....Have fun, once you get used to it this hasto be the best cave in the game right now.

Some of the MOBs have enormous Health and Intimidate A LOT! More than two on you alone and its TRAIN TO ZONE TIME! (btw they run fast too so you better bea good scout)

The Geonosians use stun pistols, which hurt. MAKE SURE you "collect" them all. That is make them switch to melee (the fools!) by running upto them and only once you have them all in melee mode: COB/A3 - same tactic as Tuskens. If even one of them is still on pistol you're screwed.

Watch for some VERY heavy Health Bleeds so dont have too long a macro or you will die before you get to heal yourself.

I died in 20 seconds the first time i was there. The second time (after reading through the combat logs) i took down 14 Geonosians at once.

espy them

Muon

COB

Switch to sword

Warcry

run around them until they stopped shooting

switch to hammer

A3

A2

A1

COB

HEAL

A3

A2

...etc

There fanshot is bad but I am more scared of there advanced strafe shot (1 shotted me on 3 different occasions). Other than that the previous posters have got it right, get them into melee mode or die

cave is really easy i stay there till my buffs run out all the time. i just use area attack 3 on all the targets. and i'm on bandy all the time. if i ever see my mind or health get to wherer i see white on my health bar i pop muon or a pixie just to stay alive.

i use a 180-721 5.3s with a damage slice and a power up on it. + my +95 speed mods and i can destroy that cave with ease.

oh yeah i only wear my ubese armor. also i power boost when ever i get6 the chance + i have tons of defences so i dont die. i'm master sword, master brawler tka 4004, rifle 4204. it's very sweet.

Basho, I'm a new swordsman...Do you stack the area attacks? You say a3,a2,a1?

Just confused me, sry, but i'm new to the profession.

I can usually stay in there 30mins to 1hr+ if I'm just killing anything that spawns (longer if I'm actually trying to get to the end of the cave). I go into a room of geo spawns and the second they spawn I begin using my AOE attacks with my hammer. Get them all into melee (as suggested before) and use ur area attack/posture change move. For some reason the Geo's seem to make themselves dizzy, and if u can get some of them falling down your odds improve immensly. I've taken over a dozen crazed geonisians at once also....keep the brandy flowing, keep an eye on your buffs, and have a muon and pixie ready (as already suggested). That blast vulnerablity they have is perfect for us swordsmen.

Please someone answer, can you stack area attacks. What area attacks are best and do the posture change moves work?

Thanks gang.

There is no reason to stack area attacks. Area3 does the most damage (4x), posture down, plus a chance to dizzy. Area2 does not dizzy and does less damage. Spin2 does not have any secondary effects and does less damage (3x) han Area3, and Sweep2 does half the damage of Area3, though it does do posture down. Area2 and Area1 would have less of a delay, but Sweep2 and Spin2 take just as long to execute as Area3.

So unless you are trying to use less HAM or use a lower damage attack that executes quicker, there is no reason to stack attacks.

You just need to get 37% stun composite armor and havecrate of shields with 26% stun. A Master Doctor/Trickshot and I killed everything including Aklay boss or whatever its called. All I looted from the boss was venom that went into commando grenades.
