you could set some kind of a goal to make a rare item Like complete a set of Ris Armor or loot a complete set of BH armor.

Interesting idea, but im fairly useless at arranging things like that (and I was kind of put off when I tried to arrange a hunt in my old guild, and I was the only one who attended!)

There's a saying, "Only boring people get bored".

This is not a flame however, it's natural when things become monotonous. The trick is to set multiple goals and go after them. Regardless of how difficult/easy they are there will be a feeling of accomplishment.

Have you tried soloing Nightsister elders without healing? It can be done.

Very true Bazalan.

I am quite a recluse, and do not go out much at all, so games do become monotonous quite easily.

But I have had a think about it, and I have decided to go with the Dojo idea.

I have already put in a big order for a large house, enough furniture to fit it, and 6 identical curved swords.

I expect it will take a while before it is all set up, but if you are a swordsman (any level) and you are on the Infinity server, mail me here or in game (Ivos) and I will mail you the details once we are up and running. (dont forget to include your game-name if you mail me)

Thank you everyone for all your help!

With the influx of new and returning players for JTL, a dojo would be a great place to show new swordsman the ropes. I am hoping to start something like this myself once the combat revamp is done.

Check this thread:

It is a basic outline of what the dev team will be looking at after the Jedi fixes are put in. Hopefully, it will bring a lot more diversity to the combat.

Try joining a decent PAand particiapte in activies with them, that is what seems to keep alot of people going. Maybe do some GCW activities, raids, etc.

with the dojo... i think u should also have fencers w/ their curved swords and pike with wood staffs and TK with just unarmed.. and you should also let regular like brawler people in who havent achieved a melee elite profession. just make sure you dont put like a novice brawler and master lvl against each other lol.

I suggest making a really big goal, like say getting 1 billion credits or something...?
